Appreciate the time and effort you put into bringing us all this educational material. because you're lying to people and don't call them if they want to use 265+ on camera, they've lost all the Acusense features they pay for. such as line crossing and more. or when they like 25fps the lens going to 4mm DS-2CD2T86G2-2I

stupid question, but for the Colorvu cameras i can see two short lead connectors.... do we have to buy the cables for those separately? The network cables are easy enough to have cut to length but what about the other cable?

Hi, I have the colorvu camera with led light.. I get a red Circle in the middle of the Image on all of the cameras hen the light is turned on.. what could be causing this?

Hi and thanks, it all depends on the application , there is no set height but I personally aim between 2.5-4mtrs standard , but each application can vary

The white led’s on the bullet are spaced further apart compared to the turret. Do you know if this helps spread the beam of light so it’s not like the turret which is very focused on a central area. Also, where are people finding use for a bullet these days?

Hi , yes they are and it does help a little , the bullets are being used on lots of installation scenario like cladded building , towers , posts etc where a more overt option is preferred and they have the sun shield , we still sell a lot of bullets

Hi, currently fitting a few home cctv systems and been using 2MP poc low light turrets or if budgets are higher the 4mp IP dark fighter turrets. Thinking of pushing customers down the colorvu route or the acusense. Which would you recommend based on cost, quality and reduced false alarms. Cheers.

Hi Chris, Acusense will give good night time images as powered by Darkfighter , and a higher level of false alarm immunity than standard cameras. ColurVu will give a great great image at night and the white light if needed , so it really depends on what you are looking for 😊

@@DVSLTD thanks for that, i have a HIKVISION 5MP STANDARD TURRET camera at the moment but was thinking of changing 2 of them with either this motorized or the DS-2CE72HFT-F28 or DS-2CE12HFT, can you give me some advice please on what you think is better

@@mandynewman109 it really depends on the application as one is turret the other is the bullet , turret is smaller more discreet whereas the bullet camera is larger , more overt and stronger white light I feel

Stupid bandwidth eating crap? There is obviously a setup issue there or misunderstanding , for note all CCTV will use bandwidth when viewed off site , I would say there is a definite setup issue here .

@@DVSLTD to the Aust gov that's good enough. If it records something all other devices go offline or so slow they may as well be offline.

@@hulkgqnissanpatrol6121 If that is happening , have the used the wifi router to add the cameras to the NVR ? if so all traffic will be routed through this and cause this issue potentially , so it does sound like a setup issue

@@DVSLTD nail on the head. They installed a 2nd router that seems to be identical to the one I use in my raspberry pi projects. The box its self has no wifi functionally unless using that 2nd router that's connected through microusb. Plus the cameras being powered through a poe box that's really hot! Seems like cheap Chinese knockoffs of open scourced software like iSpy! The cameras themselves are ok but for the price name branded would be a better option.
