New Holland forage harvesters feature new grass pick-up 

New Holland is redesigning and restyling its line of forage harvesters.
Up front, farmers will notice a renewed version of New Holland's UltraFeed grass pickup on its range of FR forage harvesters for 2024.
The UltraFeed will be available in working widths of 3.o, 3.5 and 4.0 metres. In this interview from Agritechnica, Laurent Libbrecht, New Holland's head of crop production and hay adn forage, says the pick-up is designed to enhance crop flow to allow each FR forage harvester model to handle high crop volumes and exploit the full capacity of the large chopping cylinder and the engine that powers it.
In this report with RealAgriculture's Bernard Tobin, Libbrecht discusses how new header options have also been added to increased harvesting efficiency and reduce costs. Operators can also expect to see updates to New Holland's NutriSense nutrient analysis technology.
Libbrecht says New Holland tested the new machines throughout 2023 and demonstration models are expected to be in the field in 2024.
