@BTP: I enjoy your channel so much. You have remained true to your mission-presenting the big equipment needed in modern farming. You have expanded your presentations to include not only the equipment, but also the specs and cost. Recently you expanded to include some shop maintenance. Wishing you continued success and satisfaction as you near your next milestone, 200k viewers!
Thank you for all the info in your videos. Did not know a lot about the business end of things in 1999 till you informed me. Also love the sound of this tractor!!
Awesome video! Thank you for explaining how the Ford New Holland transition happened as well as when Case and New Holland merged. Blue looks great in the field 🙂
Thanks for the nice background information on the New Holland and Case tractor decisions following merger/acquisition. Interesting and helpful history. Is there any good book on the impact of the merger? Thanks! - Dean from Minnesota
I don’t a book on CNH has been written yet. Even though it was 20 years ago it’s still a relatively new endeavor compared to a lot of the Farm Equipment companies. I might do a more detailed CNH video some time.
You do such a great job and your passion for tractors really comes though. I appreciate and marvel all the technical details you provide. Thanks for sharing your passion with us!!!
That sucker sounds mean. We have a Case IH 335 Steiger which is pretty similar I believe. Our 335 has a chrome straight pipe and sounds just like that TJ325.
Yeah there was a time period that the model right before this one had 3 badges (Buhler/Versatile/NH) during that time of the big merger we had a 4750 swather that was badged as a "Ford Versatile". I guess it would be tough for you to do a video on swathers in your area eh.
Boy oh boy would I like to film a 4750. I have sales literature from Versatile and Ford on the 4750 plus a 1/64 toy. Unfortunately swathers are not a machine I have ever had a chance to see in the field for small grain.
Wow!The whole machinery is a monster!I suppose this picture been made last year after the corn harvest.Amazing video mister!Congratulation for your great effort mister, making so many videos to show us,how the work goes on.👍✌
Like TJ series even though it’s blue, they were reliable big hp tractors, with nice Cummins engine sound. News this week NH shifting CR combine manufacturing to Belgium plant, CaseIH will still build Grand Island Nebraska.
I am totally surprised that the tractor could pull that load and not use more than 6.5 gallons per hour, that seems incredibly little fuel for a 325 HP machine pulling that sort of load but then again I haven't been around and modern big tractors.
Hey Jason I will be in town til Monday night in hopkinsville Kentucky if you want to go eat or something tomorrow anytime or at lunch on Monday with Matt and myself. Let me know or talk to Matt and figure out what is best for you 2 I'm available all day tomorrow just let me know.
At 3:50 you said the cost of the tractor new was $190,000. You sure it wasn't $90,000? Good video anyway, and I wonder if the 540 cu in motor wasn't twisted a little tight at 325 hp. Thanks :)
