Take a look as we compare two 70 HP tractors: The New Holland Workmaster 70 and the Kioti RX7320 Power Shuttle. My name is Mike Schramke, owner of Larry Stovesand Equipment. I have two locations in the Nashville market.

Thank you for the comparison. Had no idea how well made the Kioti tractors are. It should be noted that other tractor manufacturers keep switching model names after 2 to 4 yrs. The Kioti 7320 came out in 2014 and is so good they still make that model today. I'm from Washington state and will be buying a RX7320 next summer and getting rid of my 1968 Ford 4000 Diesel w hi/low and 3000 gas

Kioti makes a nice machine. They have come a long way in the last 10-15 years. Still looking to find a used one in the 50 HP range but here in Mass there isn't a lot of used ones around. I may end up buying a used Kubota but after comparing the two I prefer a Kioti.. Take a look at their warrantee.... I think its the best around.

I’ve used that new holland work master at my old job only it was a 2014, trying to kick it into 4 wheel drive was such a pain with the lever being so stiff you practically had to kick it until it fell in, aside from that a good tractor, works decently well on steep hills

Kapper Outdoors thanks Kap. The Koreans really do “got it goin’ on”. If I may offer an observation related to that point. Unlike so many other countries, the Koreans genuinely like Americans. Plenty of countries are happy to sell us their products, while holding their noses. The Koreans remember the sacrifices of blood and coin generously given to them. Without American intervention in the 1950’s, and our continued protection to this day, there would be no South Korea. The Korean people enjoy a standard of living on par with any western nation. I was fortunate enough to be Kiotis guest for two weeks and tour the country. I was made welcome. I am proud as an American to be a friend and business partner.

I have had a 2015 Kioti CK30 for 5 years using for bushhogging, and agriculture work in my gardens. I have had 0 issues with my tractor. I average about 90hrs per year on it. Its like the day I bought it, no loose bolts, nothing rattles, and I go over and beyond on maintenance taking care of it. I would not hesitate to buy another one(looking at the RX7320 PS). They are a solid built tractor and need to be used for a application that the piece of equip can handle. I see people all the time trying to use a tractor in place of a Dozer or a larger tractor and end up breaking something and then complaining about the tractor. My brother has about 20 tractors for his farming operation and they are a mixture of John Deere, New Holland, Case and all of them go to the shop.Shoutout to Larry, great videos and I sure wish you would have a satellite store down here in central Louisiana. Man I want to personally thank you for going over the 2 different make and model tractors!! For a guy like me that is getting ready to purchase my first tractor it allows me to learn which one brings what to the table and which one is the right one for you, because we all know that what I need one for is different from what someone else is getting one for!!!! It was the small details that I appreciated the most because it was things that I had not even been thinking about and would definitely play a huge role!! For instance the hydraulic lines and their locations on each one was so important and again I would not have paid attention to that kind of thing. I also like that 70hp vs 70hp is NOT the same as far as engine wise,but I love that the kioti front bucket loader was bigger and lifted 600lbs more than the Holland, and lastly the rear hook up and lift was 1,200lbs difference coming from the kioti over the Holland!!!! So again THANK YOU SIR!!!! I'm sure you have helped thousands of people decide which one is best for them!!!

As noted elsewhere, the Kioti dealership network is relatively small, for all sorts of reasons. That's the tradeoff in buying a better tractor for less money. But I'd still rather have the better tractor ! If you can't find a reasonably close dealership, there are good mechanics out there who can fix any make of tractor.

The New Holland Powerstar 75 would be a closer comparison. It has a powershift transmission, option of a self-leveling bloader, flat-floor workstation, saddle mount gas tank, and 84" bucket. And you have a New Holland dealer and parts distribution network across North America to support you after the sale. The Workmaster 60 is a great tractor in many applications, but more of an economy tractor. Look at the new Workmaster 55, 65, and 75 models that just came out this year as well.

Ok, you had me sold by the time you got to the hydraulic hoses on the loaders. That's a big deal. One bad thing on the Kioti is location of the steering hydraulics for those of us that work in the woods. Yes they put a shield there but its a disaster waiting to happen. Same with fuel tank location. great if you are filling with a gas can but have a fuel tank exposed to stumps, branches etc is not good. Otherwise a great looking machine. I will take a look at one.

I feel and just like you pointed out even back in 1995 they were ahead of their time, or better yet they have been right on time and the others are still doing what they have always done. I currently have a New Holland Workmaster 70. I am trading it in for a Kioti NS6010 HST. The NS6010 is a smaller, much more maneuverable tractor, but nearly as powerful. The NH is an absolute chore to operate. Some of the work on our farm includes brush clearing in wooded areas as well as a lot of loader work with compost and manure, as well as hay making. Because of its difficult driving characteristics, other than row crop work or hay making, the NH is like a bull in a china shop. I also hate the hose routing on the loader. The way they stick up makes them very vulnerable to bushes and branches. The NH is very long with the loader and the turning radius is big. The trans is balky and shifting is almost impossible to do smoothly. I am really looking forward to downsizing to the Kioti NS6010.

Comparisons great but as a farmer you missed out on the main thing a farmer looks for when buying a tractor or any equipment. A piece of equipment is only as good as the supporting local dealership. What I mean by that is if I wanted a kioti and there is no local dealer within 100+ miles let's say and I'm down times $$$. Let's face it all tractors will break it's a fact. I again am not a dealer but a farmer and I don't go off name brand but go off of local dealer support. I would love to try a Kioti though I am partial to the old school features on the new Holland honestly.

Both Kioti and New Holland have issues of their own. For Kioti their biggest issue is lack of dealerships and the quality of the dealerships that they do have in many areas. In south central Pa. the few Kioti dealerships that I'm aware of are not farm equipment dealerships with a background in tractors, but rather dealerships that are primarily lawn and garden care or in some cases selling ATV's and personal watercraft as their primary business. In my opinion these dealerships lack the tractor knowledge and experience as do their mechanics and in some cases the dealership may even lack the equipment needed to diagnose and repair Kioti tractors. Larry Stovesand Equipment is probably the exception rather than the rule when it comes to Kioti dealers. In the case of New Hollands, as it pertains to Compact tractors, their problem is that they are managing to get by on name recognition of New Holland and the past reputation for advanced technology , reliability , value and dealership service and reputation. As stated in this video, New Holland really doesn't exist as a "manufacturer" of tractors anymore. The New Holland name or brand is now owned by a corporate conglomerate who gets their tractors made by various manufacturers around the world and I'm guessing that "low bid" for the manufacture of the tractors has a lot to do with who makes each particular model of New Holland tractors. The New Holland compact tractor that I was thinking about purchasing is made by LS tractors in S. Korea. You can buy a LS tractor with more features than a New Holland for less money than the New Holland tractor which is nothing but an LS tractor with New Holland decals on it, costing more than the LS which has more standard features. Anyone who has looked at LS tractors and done research on them will know that LS tractors are, for the most part, sold by lawn and garden dealerships and small engine repair shops. While some people are very happy with their LS tractors, there are likely more who are not happy with their LS tractor, the dealership and the company. The internet and youtube have a lot of very unhappy LS tractor owners. Issues with original quality and reliability are plentiful as are complaints with dealerships lack of service and knowledge on LS tractors and the LS factories unwillingness to stand behind what they've built and are selling. People have had to take their new LS tractor back for warranty work and then waited weeks and sometimes over a month to get their tractor back only to find the problem was not fixed and New Holland tractors, at the least the compact tractors, ARE LS tractors. I didn't buy a New Holland because of who makes them and I didn't buy a Kioti because of them having so few dealers and my local dealer being first and foremost an ATV and personal watercraft dealers with only two Kioti tractors in stock.
@blessed7fold
@blessed7fold 3 года назад
@ alphaone101 Everything you said is the absolute truth. That's the problem with both brands. It's really a shame in a lot of way because both brands make tractors that have perfect specs that you will never find with Deere or Kubota. It's always a trade off. You give up one thing to gain another. It's hard to know which way to go sometimes with these kind of purchases.

Thanks for the comparison. The NH 621TL loader has a lift capacity of 3549# at bucket pivot pin. This compares with 3384# from the KIOTI. You always need to look at where the specs are listed. This is where manufacturers get a little sneaky. The NH loader is actually more capable. Mahindra also will list capacities at the pivot pin and then compare with competitors and 24" ahead of the pivot pin. Pivot pin capacities always are higher. Thus, a manufacturer who claims 2000# lift capacity at pivot pins will disappoint a customer who is trying to lift a pallet with 2000# centered on it. That weight is ahead of the pivot pins. And capacity is reduced the further you move away from the pivot pin. Kioti has definitely stepped up their game. Competition is good for the consumers. I always recommend people test drive and do their homework to compare models. I'd take either of those tractors....they both beat a wheelbarrow and shovel! LOL!

Well, here's a question, not in defense for the new Holland but to clear up a bit of confusion. When the push button four wheel drive takes a crap, or the self leveling bucket stops working, two hours over the warranty, how much will all that cost to fix? Sure the plumbing is nicely tucked away, but what a pain to untuck it to find the busted hose. I am considering a Kioti tractor in my future, but I have to say, the fuel tank placement is top shelf, unless you need to cross a berm or climb over a tree. So at the end of the day, every design has its pros and cons. Sure push button stuff is good, and gear driven stuff is a pain, but, my friends gear driven tractor was built in 1962, everything about that tractor still does the job. I wonder if all this electronic stuff will still be working sixty years from now?

@@LSE_TRACTOR I agree, and please don't take it the wrong way, I have some of the bells and whistles on my tractor. But most old school farmers would argue dependability. The 992G rock loader I ran had the self leveling bucket, worked great until it got older, then it was a nightmare for the mechanics to fix not to mention the cost. My pickup had the push button 4 wheel drive, worked great until it quit. Sure the new designs and upgrades are good especially for the operator just learning. But to have a tractor more than 8 years would be a major expense now days. I do need to do more research, my next investment will need to last.

@LSE_TRACTOR
@LSE_TRACTOR 3 года назад
Yes. All components such as that are warranted for two years with no limit on hours. Here is the thing, the electric switch eliminates the weakest part of any shuttle shifting machine: the cable that runs from the handle to the transmission. That cable will stretch over time, and you won’t know it until the clutch wears out prematurely. The power shuttle simply activates a solenoid to separate the two plated clutch and allow the gear change. My Ford Ranger, F350, F450, and every other paddle shift automotive transmission use a twin clutch design. No one that has purchased a power shuttle from me has regretted it.

WTF? Really kioti tractors were first introduced and sold in America in 1986. I have owned a John Deere that I purchased brand new with the trailer package loader, and bush hogg. Look at all the really shady comments made. I went to J Deere to look at a 70 hp tractor with a closed cab, I walked into the dealer in Wharton Texas south of Houston, as I was working at the nuke. Man, it's hot in Houston, I had a bad experience with my open cab JD, so when I got into the cab and turned on the ACU, it blew like a cheap fan from Walmart. I asked the guy was it working he was somewhat embarrassed. I was pissed and drove all the way to the Kioti dealer the next day to the far northside of Houston. I jumped into the Rx 7320 closed cab that they have sitting in the hot sun in the lot, turned on the ACU it blew my ass out the seat it got immediately cold. The best price I have found was $42,000 with cab and loader in Phoenix, Arizona 2020 model. Why would J Deere have a tractor on the lot brand new that does not work? To me, this is a sign that this dealer is useless. The reason why you don't see a lot of used kioti tractors is that the people who own them like them. The others are the type who will buy a 35 hp tractor to work 200 acres of land then drop a tampoon because they could not use their triple mower, and post a hate-filled clip because their light bulb blew out.

I bought a left over brand new 7320 open station this summer its a 2017 model ag tires 2 remotes power shuttle loader rear tires loaded $30000 delivered to my house. overall I'm very happy with it and now it has 35 hours only issues were seat safety switch tractor wouldn't start and I by passed and problem solved. tractor normally is shed kept but we had 10" of snow the other week and it sat outside a few days well one morning at 20 degrees I needed to use it and although it started right up the loader wouldn't move at all. the problem was the loader controls are cable to solenoid and water must have been in the cable and froze. An hour later I took the covers off the controls and used a heat gun to thaw the cable out hopefully I can find a solution as its going to be a long winter. Overall I would recommend the kioti 7320 to just about anyone my next choice was a ls mt5 73 and im glad I went orange.

rageridersrx, Thank you for sharing. Please take the dust cover off of the joystick one more time and spray water dispersing oil (WD-40) onto the movable knuckles. This will eliminate the water that freezes and leaves the loader unusable. p.s. I'm glad you didn't try to force it loose, the cable would have snapped. While this would be a valid warranty claim, it would have required replacement of the cable.

When I was on the market for a compact series tractor I tried JD, NH, Mahindra, Kubota, LS, and a couple others along with Kioti. I have two local dealers with excellent customer service and parts supply. The warranty I got with the Kioti surpasses the competitors. I got the CK2610HST with the front loader and back hoe. I have put my Kioti through hell and back and it has been a very good tractor it has battle scars but hasn’t been defeated yet. I love the standard quick attach system on the front loader which the competition offers but I have to pay extra for that option. My neighbors have kubota tractors and they can’t keep up nor do they have the lifting power of the Kioti. No dealership could beat the price that I paid for the Kioti plus some extra implements wrapped into the price tag. My most favorite attachment is the front loader just because two handles and I can attach any skid steer loader implement to the front of my tractor. I also do my own maintanence on it. Two months after purchasing it I had to do the 50 hr maintanence and now I’m working on close to 1000hrs. Never had an issue. I like the maintanence friendly placement of vital engine pieces. My Kioti is 3 years old and I wouldn’t buy anything other than Kioti. I know people can be biased toward certain products but I don’t see very often a Kioti traded in for another brand.

The problems with Korean vsr USA any thing is parts costs. The tractors like cars come in cheap, but the parts are high.If that was not the case, I would probably own a Kioti vrs the workmaster. On that dumb ass comment @03:35 that deck plate is design to drain water so it would not rust as easy, just wash the deck off and remove mud, not sure the Kioti would hold up the same over years. The tank fill position is a big issues ( I waste a lot of diesel just filling my workmaster up ) , but I also do not like the lower tank position , since you can easily poke a hold in tank if you are in heavy thick brush. Outside of that the Kioti is a well built machine. I just only have one dealer within a 120 miles of my home and I have maybe 5-6 dealers for NH in the same radius. That was the main reason why I did not go Kioti.

Hello I bought a New Holland Boomer 33 from a dealership that sold New Holland and Kioti price was a big factor. I got a far better deal with the Boomer 33 which more deluxe line than the Workmaster line it's a economic model like Kubota Standard L series basic tractor. Fiat has made tractor's in Italy so it's not like they are new to the game most brands farm out products to South Korea and India Mexico and China so that's a mixed bag. I guess one good thing about the over seas production most plants have new machines and equipment and 6 Sigma 6S and ISO certification so the work has been dramatically improved from the past. I have been in 6 foriegn plants I see how much is spent on the system and quality and production they are improving every year.

Team Stucker, good points, but the fact that companies rebrand other companies machines can’t be the optimal way to achieve quality. Your NH is really an LS. LS does in fact make good tractors, but imagine being a technician at a NH store. How could any keep tract of all the manufactures involved? NH, Fiat, LS,Shibaura, and on and on. Daedong (Kioti) makes the tractor. The engine. The transmission, axles, everything. They literally mine and smelt there own steel. That’s how to control quality. I will give credit to Kubota as well. Kubota makes their own stuff as well, hence the predictable quality of their products.

@@LSE_TRACTOR Thanks for the comment LS makes the base tractor but the New Holland and LS units are different here are examples, raw wieght, loders, pumps, motor, control placement, so there are things that make each tractor different. LS copied the CNH plans this is allowed in South Korea laws are not like ours ( I know LG/LS does this because my company has won a lawsuit for LG coping a Dryer motor design and selling it domestic or State side if they would have sold it overseas we had no case but selling units here in the US it was theft) The New Holland dealership said there's bad blood on this deal just what I was told. Shibaura has been in New Holland/Ford for many years so no worries on the motor. I'm a technician and I work on many brands of Die Cast machines Lester's, HPMs, Prince,THT etc time and training is the key to working on machines and equipment. I bet you have a technician or two that can build a Kioti in his sleep lol some of us love working on machines and learning different equipment most of the time dealers, parts and supplies can be a big pain and on old things it gets really fun to redesign the wheel to make them work again.
