Awesome, that’s what I needed, I’m in Florida too and I put new st Augustine sod and it needed some love, now I know how to love it, don’t forget the video after your treatment brother!!! Keep them coming.....
Im glad i could help out man! Thats why i make these videos to spread some knowledge I've learned over the years. I hope it helped. There will definitely be a few follow up videos. This will be an ongoing project!
Florida Lawns you help a lot, tomorrow I’m going to Lowe’s to buy me some fertilizer, out new sod and some spots seems like didn’t stick to well, maybe put some top soil on top and see if they recup soon
Awesome im glad i could help! For the spots you are goin to fix i would losen up the dirt at least 3 to 4" deep then apply some black cow compost and mix it with the dirt in the area. Before you lay the sod toss some sunniland all natural or milorganite fertilizer in the area then lay the sod directly on top and water it in. That sod will grab hold and grow like crazy. I have done this process many times with a 100% success rate!
Nice video and good to see you buy products from a big box store. Yeah the professional grade products are great, but not all us home owners can afford that big price hit upfront. And glad to see you recommend products we could buy local. Could you put a link to your Echo spreader in the discription? I much appreciate your time and effort making these videos! thx, tww
Thanks for watching and the for the kind words as well. I enjoyed making this video and im going to make more like this for the average homeowner. Its a good way to learn the process and go from there. I will most definitely put a link to the spreader in the description! Hope you enjoyed. Thanks again !
Nice video and your also a nice friend. I wish I knew more people who were interested in Lawncare. I would enjoy helping or giving guidance to someone interested. NJ humidity is bad also, but I can say that Florida definitely gets hotter and stickier for sure. Look forward to the lawns response to all the treatments. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching man! I really enjoy helping people when they are willing to learn. He was very involved and interested so i think after he sees the results it will be game on! Definitely Florida is crazy sticky this time of the year 😓
Hi. The green spots can come from many different things. Low spot holding water, nitrogen in animal urine, fertilizer runoff. Try to rule those options out first. This particular reason was new construction, low spots and low iron.
Could you tell what happened with the discolorization in the neighbors yard? It looked circular around the tree, and there was also an odd pattern around the side of their house. It was almost like a bad fertilizer spreader or sprayer was used on it.
My friend was telling me that. The neighbor hired a pro to fertilize his yard with liquids and that is the result of a really bad application lol. Pros are not always the best unfortunately.
