Wow New CB1100 is too cool! I agree with Harley Dyna FXD guy....most all bikes are cool. I have a Harley with Brembo brakes...fun to ride(Certainly not a "tractor" ) & I have a Moto Guzzi Cal Vintage Very Fun To Ride & Handles/stops Just Amazing!! Now it seems a new CB1100 is in my near future. Don't rag on others guys machines ( it sounds ignorant) and our bikes are personal expression of ourselves. Enjoy The Sport & Enjoy Your Rides...
Only time Harley tried to break away from their "tractors" was with v-rod and they couldn't sell any as customers demand sheds. They are a victim of their own branding. Just look at good bike mags and only scores lower for build quality are Chinese bikes.
A quality BMW or Harley dealership is usually going to be better than one of the multi-line Japanese dealers, especially when it comes to the "after-sale" experience. Also, there's a local European dealer near me that carries Triumph/Ducati/Aprilia/Guzzi that's run by a bunch of racers that actually care about the product they're selling, and aren't just employees look for a check. Sadly, I've yet to come across a Honda/Kawasaki/Yamaha/Suzuki dealer that wasn't run like a used car dealership...
Can't compare a Harley to a Honda. Harley's are loud ancient bone shakers that don't handle , run like a tractor and have no brakes. This Honda although paying homage to the past is a real motorcycle.
@davidtheatheist its the sign of the times. No one gives a shit anymore. Quality isn't even on there priority list. Once they get your money you don't count. Same way up here in Canada.
wow people are ignorant if your a true biker we don't care what make it is I own a Harley FXD, Honda CB650 and a Aprilia RS50 love all three bikes only posers talk crap about other makes enjoy life and keep the rubber on the road. I like the Honda CB because back in 1969 they had the most modern bike out there inline 4 cylinder front disk breaks and a joy to ride. The only ones to hate are those carriage driving mother f##kers there the ones out to kill you!
