For the first time in over 30 years, New Hope Railroad's 2-8-0 #40 left the former New Hope Branch of the Reading Railroad for a series of mainline excursions. In concordance with the town of North Wales, PA celebrating their 150th birthday, SEPTA and the New Hope crew teamed up to bring the first set of steam excursions on this line in over two decades. These four trips were operated in pull-pull fashion between North Wales and Gwynedd Valley, PA. Also seen are the ferry moves passing by the Pennbrook SEPTA station. Enjoy this look at New Hope's #40 for North Wales 150!
