My husband and I love your rig so much we have used it as the basis for ours. We have rearranged some walls and added a half bath like the 2023. We also added a second pantry shortened the eating bar. We did the table and desk area same as you

Your coach is amazing. I have reservations on the genset underneath, especially if we go with a toy hauler. Boondocking at the dunes with sand whipping around seems like looking for trouble. I totally get the advantages for storage, pin weight, noise, etc.

Thanks. I get your concerns about the gen in a "camping in the dunes" situation. The gen sits in a frame and I wonder if enclosing it would be possible. There would be things to consider before just doing it but I wonder. .

@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 Drawing clean air would be the issue to overcome. The Onan 5500 in our last coach drew air at the bottom of its enclosure, through a hole in the compartment floor. Thanks!

That basement is immense. Hope Diane doesn't make you hang out down there too often. This is some RV. Very impressive. It's bigger than our condo. Glad you remembered to move the bunny. lol. Built in shoe racks!!! That's would be amazing.

Dave…great job! While we wait for our NH to be built, we are constantly looking for design inspiration and your videos help. I have a couple of questions; can the cameras be utilized as security cameras, and what is color name of your Corian kitchen countertops?

You often mention how flexible New Horizons is, are they flexible with solar? Do they limit the amount of panels? I was surprised to hear you say that your batteries were not lithium. Greater boondocking potential. Did you keep the same truck or keep your old setup intact? Another great video, thanks

I have not heard anyone say that New Horizons ever limited the amount of panels you can out on the roof. You are correct, Lithium is the ultimate but we drew the line in the sand on getting lithium because we transfered batteries from our last coach because they were pretty new. When these go bad we will do lithium next. And yes, we kept the same truck. Thank you for watching Paul!!

Sweet rig. How about the tow rig? Love the tri axle and HD running gear. Not a fan of the lightweight axles on most trailers.

Thanks. We pull it with a Ram 5500 with the Kelderman air ride in the rear and a Classy Chassis hauler body.

Too back the recliner don't have center console. Pullout laptop station is too small. Other than that it's awesome!

We looked at some loveseats with the center console but liked the wider seats. As far as the laptop area they built exactly what I wanted but if I would have wanted something more we could have figured something out. A lot of people opt for the eating area that faces the window more like a bar and really fiz up a nice workstation but I didn't need all of that space. Depending on what a person has done to a rig like ours you could expect to pay between $225K and $275K. Ours fell closer to the middle of those numbers.

Not really, To comfortably get to the kitchen the passenger slide needs to be ran out a few inches.

Sir, we’re 47, and 44, fixing to go to full time living in (5th wheel, or Destination trailer, or travel trailer), and are brand new to this life. We both work full time so will be parking it, living in it till we both retire, then by then moving to Kentucky lake to spend our rest of days hopefully. My main question is, do I need a generator, do I need the mo-ride mount pintos and suspension, what type trailer rv is best for our situation and do I need 3/4 ton or 1 ton preferably. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide much appreciated!

GVWR 27,000lbs...Unloaded vehicle weight 21,588lbs... If we filed our 110 gallon fresh water tank and filled with propane we would have a carrying capacity of 4419 lbs (before adding any extra batteries, solar ect.

The pin weight fully loaded for travel day which includes about 25% full on water is #5340. It was lighter but I wanted more so we moved the bikes from the rear of the coach and now carry them in the basement.

@@lesgarten Really glad you enjoy the video.. As far as the 6" we had a plan for specific furniture in the living room and we knew we wanted just a little more room in the bathroom. Looking back we would have been happy with adding 1 ft to the bathroom and nothing in the living room. .

Ya know what Grady, we are at the factory now having service and I bet I can get up on the catwalk and do a video on the roof construction and share that. We sort of considered Spacecraft but not whole heartedly. Now if we wanted to do a semintrailer conversion type rigSpacecraft would be the cats meow.
