I absolutely love these videos. It’s such a shame tutorials don’t get the views they deserve. This is one of my favorite series you do on your channel.
It is like the deep version and brighter version of the Retro Glam. I am more into the mint green than bright green so Retro Glam has that going for me over the Lethal one.
I prefer the one from ND being lighter and more subduded but it's also good that there's a version on that colour story that it's more intense for those who prefer/need that. I don't think one option is better than the other, they just cater to different people.
Jumping in again to say, I'd love a look featuring both Adept and Lunar Beauty palettes. I love the idea of pairing 2 palettes, especially unexpected and fun combos. Maybe for a short, if long form tutorial stuff is still not doing that well 😅. Or a whole video about interesting palette combos...hmmm, am I one the few interested in this?
My main concern with that Kiss palette is that all the shades are the same value. I'm fine with deeper, smokier shades but I usually want midtones & at least 1 light or highlight shade to build a look & have more variety. Glamlite also seems to have inconsistent quality from palette to palette unfortunately.
The Kiss look is such a "me" look! Colorful but dramatic and dark. But also with an iridescent colorful inner corner! This is why I don't need the Kiss palette, I have all those colors so many times over 😅😅 I am excited to see holographic shadows make their way into palettes! The Adept isn't quite right for me, but it means I can be on the lookout for more inspired by it!
So glad you are doing these again! I understand they may not be the best performing but just know that some of us still love it! Hard to pick a favorite but maybe the cyborg choir look? The lethal look was really unexpectedly gorgeous color combo too but I'm not an all matte girl :P Thanks for sharing these looks/ thoughts!
I copied the Glamlite kiss look with bbb bejeweled and bbb basic witch holographic purple ! Thanks for the inspiration! I’ve never done red and purple it’s amazingggg together! Love these 4 look videos ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this video. I'm a small tiktok creator and I reviewed Flying Fiddles there this week and basically saying the same thing as you concerning the mattes to shimmer ratio. I loved all of your eyelooks you created - Lethal one is my fave, it gives pistachio raspberry gelato and what can I say you infected me with love for all matt eyelook. Also Lethal commented on Instagram under one of their posts with Mellow Grove that they decided to tease their Avatar collab in case someone that is fan of Avatar and would want to buy it, is able to save money or really think about this purchase in case they have tight budget (this is just me paraphrasing). Read a few comments comparing the Lunar Beauty palette to the collab with Kristi and honestly it’s funny to me because that palette was released before 2020, it was limited edition and isn’t coming back. I’m happy Manny decided to create something inspired by that palette’s color story because a lot of people didn’t have the chance to pick it up and resellers have been selling it for $50+ for “like new”.
This video really proves how good your brushes are because so many people had trouble picking up that light purple and yellow but you didn’t have any trouble what so ever.
I have been panting and obsessing over Cyborg Choir since I got it. Insain palette. ❤ but Lethal is just missing every time for me lately, but you managed to turn a look that I loved. Just gonna try that with something else In my collection

I’m approaching 40 but they’ll have to pry colorful palettes out of my cold dead hands 😂 Most other colorful palette reviewers I see are much younger without hooded eyes, wrinkles, or folds. The first look reminded me of a look you could do with your favourite Natasha denona palette. I would like to see some looks with suggestions with what other palettes you could use to achieve a similar look
Ooooh, that Lethal palette is really calling to me. I'm always a sucker for soft muted greens paired with soft reds/pinks/mauves. I prefer more mattes in a palette as well. Half & half is also acceptable if the shades are right. If the deepest shade in a palette is a shimmer, usually a pass but not always :)
I REALLY love when you do this type of video! I am one of those viewers that still will click on tutorials above many other video styles! And when you are doing the tutorials even better! I always watch your before other creators and I love the inspiration from any videos that you do looks in and your Indy 4 look palette videos I find even if I don’t own those palettes in particular, I can definitely shop my stash to find similar colors so it’s a win win for me 😆! Please keep these style of videos coming ! I love them!

I feel like your comment about the Glamlite palette is spot on. Especially if I want to do a purple red combo I will reach for your palette…but even if I didn’t have that…or only was looking at Glamlite palettes, they have done that colour combo better in other palettes.

I've reached out to several RU-vidrs and no one gets back to me. Is there any way you can ask the owner of Glamlite when they are going to restock the Rick and Morty eyeshadow palette. Indy shadows are my favorite. I like the Adept palette the most. It reminds me of sorbet colors and I prefer shimmers over mattes. Please keep doing these 4 x 4 videos.

The kiss palette look came out well I thought you wouldn't be able to get anything from it! I loved the mushroom palette, I think that'll be my first palette buy of the year and I'll just work around the eyeshadows
Fun video! I'm waiting for a color story I like to buy my first Lunar beauty palette. Love my Adept Cyborg Choir palette!! Surprised how similar the Kiss palette is to Bella Beaute Bar's Bejeweled one. All the looks were bomb but the Glamlite Kiss look was fierce!

I think lethal needs to up their packaging game, a lot of it looks very Ali express , they don’t even have names on the palettes . Having the name on the palette is bare basics surely x
