Absolutely superb video. Prior to watching I had tried to use Husqvarna's own website to find info about replacement (longer) pressure hose, part numbers, etc. etc. They had absolutely nothing for this model number anywhere on their website. So I chatted with them, same result, clueless (they recommended I go to Briggs and Stratton website for parts, which is bizarre, and when I tried nothing there either). Then came across this video and all is now clear, thanks for the great recommendations on longer hose & source for needed adapter. Happy to subscribe!
New deal coming to Costco, Greenworks 3000 PSI Electric with 15" surface cleaner with extension, and foam cannon, nicer tires and quick connect set, $350 April 10th thru May 5th. Online only.
My man! You are on your damn A game! Just got home from Costco went to look up stats on it and thought to myself "too bad i wont be able to find a real reciew on it until the prince of pressure washers picks one up" then boom first video 13 days ago! Prince of pressure strikes again! Lol idk if it's sale price but it was $199 today at my local Costco.
My 2000 psi Ryobi from 4 yrs ago is still going but i need a back up for when it does go... Thanks for the reviews, i check out your channel when i find something interesting 🤔😊
Had the 2000psi husqvarna, not a single problem and great performance for mobile detailing. THEN, I got the 2300psi one and within a month the water pump housing blew and sprayed water everywhere! Then I took it back to costco and got the same one Hopefully I was making a mistake somewhere and this one lasts longer lol I really do like Husqvarna and this units setup and convenience of rolling anywhere. It's also one of the quietest I've used for less neighborhood disturbance for early morning jobs.
I bought this on Saturday at Costco. I used it today for the first time. It was working just fine until about an hour into use and a full blow leak started. Somewhere the casing has cracked around the high pressure outlet and now this thing is unusable as water spews everywhere. I will be calling Husqvarna tomorrow to see what they can do or I will be taking it back to Costco. Such a disappointment, too, because I like the overall setup.
Seems like the Greenworks deal from last month with the 50' UBERFLEX hose was a significantly better deal for car detailing? I am getting around 1.7GPM with mine. Not bad for $180.
Great review man. I did not hear you say anything about applying some type of grease to machine before using like the instructions suggest. Any thoughts?
Good to know had the same problems. first use and it started spewing water out of the back. Thinking the gasket? Hope its not cracked. A few others here had the same issue. Usually costco checks the quality of their suppliers
I went to Costco today (September, 2024) and found this item priced at $179. The price tag has "*" indicating it's clearance item. Lucky I got the best deal. If anyone missed the previous sale price $199, hurry and get one while it lasts! Good luck all.
As always, great video Josh! I picked up this unit and will say I was pleasantly pleased with it. Until this morning. The cast metal casing busted with a hairline fracture! Spewing water from the metal casing. Just waiting for Costco to open up and see if they have a replacement. I did peek at Cosco's reviews and this appears to be a serious problem as the 1 star negative reviews are continuing to grow! Super disappointed as this unit checked all of the boxes for me.
Wish I could post the video of the blown head when I started it up after following the setup to a T. Bringing back to Costco asap. Reading others with same problem
I like it, picked it up from costcoast week for $200. One thing i didn't like, though, was that soap is dispensed only with the large hole plastic nozzle. My old ryobi would dispense soap at any nozzle. Other than that, it is a phenomenal pressure washer, very powerful, brushless motor. Hose is flimsy but adequate for non-professinal use.
I have a question for you. I heard on another video on gardening items someone compared the Harbor Freight quick connects being comparable to the MTM quick connect just a different material. Have you tested those out by any chance?
Just some food for thought..when I first started detailing my vehicles over 20 years ago I use to think the higher the pressure from the pressure washer the better..No..I still had to go and scrub the vehicle. So in my opinion buy something with known reliability and something decent pressure..the Ryobi keeps popping up for reliability, its size, and value. Is it perfect, no…but overall it’s a good value for the value driven buyer. I myself just bought one and can’t wait to try it out, though I did order a better handle, and some quick connects fittings and a better hose..Enjoy
Not only are you a professional car detailer, you could be a professional photographer. The quality of your videos is superior to other detailers. Thanks for alwa😊ys keeping us updated. I’ve never detailed a car in my life except vacuuming but that doesn’t count. I am looking for a 2.0 pressure washer without the hoses and junk that comes with it. Is that something I can find.
As per the video, picked one up on sale at Costco. Right out of the box, the motor body was spurting water, not dripping, spurting like a geyser. Tightening the bolts had no effect. Back to Costco and got another one (!). The replacement one works fine so far, but i definitely agree with the review; the water hose is junk. It tangles and kinks too easily. As Josh suggests, get an upgraded hose. After using it once, I think the ergonomics are not well designed at all. Would not recommend
Do you have a link to that pressure reader and how you connect it with? Do you recommend it and do you use it all the time for keeping it safe for washing luxury painted cars? Lastly, Would it be better to just get their 3200 gas model and dial it down but still be able to use it for cleaning the driveway cement, as well? TNx!
I have same pressure washer, it now mine will turn on and it just builds pressure then stops? Like I try to use it and it will spray then quit? Really liked it and it was my first one ever. Kinda bummed it is not working now worked really good for me as well
Please help me clarify something… 40 degree w/1.6 (included)orifice=2,100 psi 40 degree w/2.5orifice (not included)=1,100 psi. In a previous video it was recommended that psi be between 900-1200. So…is the included 40 degree nozzle not the correct one since the psi is too high? Can this be adjusted to reduce the psi? I’m not knowledgeable on pressure washers so I’m trying to avoid damaging my cars with too much psi. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
Still using my gas-powered Excel pressure washer, but I enjoy watching your reviews. One thing "...inflation, all that kind of good stuff..." nothing good about that.
Electric is so much quieter and convenient. I still have my gas unit but never again using it for the car. Couldn’t stand having to turn the unit on and off.
I bought the older version on sale a couple years ago. The hose and wand are junk. Replaced them soon after getting. If I had a time machine, I wouldn't have purchased and would have bought an Active 2.0 instead. I'm buying an Active this year so will sell the Husqvarna
I second this question. Really interested in this washer especially because it’s so compact. Would love to know what is the best gpm it can do. There’s a similar (almost identical) Briggs and Stratton washer that supposedly can hit 3.5gpm but reviews are horrible
First, thanks for the great review video. A few thoughts: It seems that the $99. Ryobi 1800psi unit is a much better value, as it achieved about the same PSI at 1.4 something gpm. It also has a 14mm outlet on the unit. Also, I would like to see the current draw with the foam cannons, especially comparing the 1.1 and 1.25 orifices. To see if the 1.1 orifice pulls over 15 amps as most US spec built homes have 15 amp circuits in the garage.
A 1.1mm orifice on a foam cannon is equivalent to about a 3.0 nozzle. So the draw would be even less! Yea the ryobi is a great value for sure. This is an induction motors where that ryobi is not and I think that’s where the price difference comes in
I just got back from Costco and came across your review. So well detailed, thank you... especially for the Amazon links! It's too bad that certain items "need" to be updated (the hose) but looking forward to using the extra length of the 50' length replacement hose. Thanks again!
Half the reviews on Costco's website are saying the pressure washer broke after 0-2 hours of use. Even if only 5% are bad or fail prematurely, that doesn't give me a lot of confidence with only a 1 year warranty.
Did your wand's quick connect connect properly to your foam cannon? I just bought this pressure washer and the Armor All foam cannon and the quick connect on the wand won't fully close onto the armor all 1/4in adapter.
@Aleksandra-qp6bh there was a defect with the armor all foam cannon to where the connect neck was too short and it wouldn't lock. I exchanged the foam cannon head with the connection port and it fit perfectly afterwards.
@@engrxtn Lowe’s just had two of their Electric washers (ePX3100) and (ePX3100v, currently sold out) for $102 and $122 respectively. It’s done such a great job on my truck - my 3100 psi/2.3gpm Simpson (gas) stays locked away. 😬
@@engrxtn just online, on their site. Even if not on sale, $120-$140 msrp is $100+ less than some of these washers over $200. That was the point of my original comment. These pressure washer are very efficient at sub $150. Use that $100 on car cleaning items like a hose/foam cannon etc etc .
@@gnawty4662agreed. People go to costco and automatically think they are getting a good deal. Last week costco had the scotts triple (lawn weed killer, preventer and food) for $90. I went to Menards and bought the same bag for $55.
Do you mean running your hot water through the unit or a pressure washer equipped with a burner? Most electric pressure washers can handle hot water from your home (hot water heater).
@@Randy_Gentry Any decent pressure washer can handle hot water from your tank. 140 degree supply water is probably close to 120 degrees by time it reaches the pump. Most of the internal components are injected molded plastics. The molding is generally manufactured at temps greater 200 degrees. Pump heads are lubricated by the water, not cooled. You won't get any issues as long as you have flow. Other than the water being warmer, the pressure and gpm is the working factor.
Here’s the thing, mine has a cracked manifold, it leaks profusely. I looked on the husky site and this model doesn’t even come up, like it doesn’t exist. Through some very frustrating and poor quality customer support I found out that this PW isn’t made by husky. It’s a Briggs product sold as a husky. Of course there’s zero evidence of this model’s existence on the Briggs site either. Supposedly the parts for a 2000 are compatible with the 2300, but I don’t know for sure. It seems like a lot of these units have had this same cracked manifold issue. BTW, apparently nobody has a parts schematic to source parts for this specific model.
Yea I’ve been getting a lot of comments from people saying they are having issues with this unit. My videos test the usable performance but no the longevity unfortunately. Did you get it at Costco? I’m sure they would accept a return on it
IMJOSHV electric garbage power washer review channel. Josh do ceramics comparison please. One million different ceramics to choose from. I want to know what is the best consumer ceramic coating…….. Scott HD stoped doing them. Thoughts?
Tips on buying ceramic coatings Close your eyes and pick one or pick the most attractive bottle because they’re more or less all the same except the professional stuff
Josh please stop making pressure washer videos 😩. Your content went from detailing content to a pure pressure washer reviewing channel and it’s getting boring.
Hey Christian, I actually started out with the pressure washer reviews haha. There have been a lot of new units coming out so I do want to cover them but I promise I will have more detailing specific videos coming soon as well!!
@@imjoshv please!!! 😫 I love your channel man but at this point it feels like nitpicking for a pressure washer. As is I overthink whenever I want to buy a new anything and the market is super saturated. Sometimes I just want to know “here are this 5 options, but this is the one I like for these reasons”
