I can also relate with this mileage but, with AC ON I got only mileage of 17 to 20 in Highway.

Hatchback gives more mileage than compact suv , main factor are weight of the car and aerodynamic design.

Nobody mentions it but tyre pressure plays a huge role in the mileage.. All these mileage testing should be don at the rated tyre pressure (+-2). I own i20 Asta latest model and it varied for me from 22 to 15 with a change in tyre pressure from 42 to 35.. 42 was there when I took the delivery and then i deflated it to 35 where rated is 33 for my model

@@chandankhairha5035 Based on your ambient temperature of your place you can keep it +-2.. If you live in a place where the temperature is usually high then keep it around 33.. for cold or winter seasons keep it around 35..

@@chandankhairha5035Check your owner's manual. Usually for i20, it's 33 psi. If you keep at 42 psi, your tyres will overheat and burst.

Speed and RPM depends on engine config. If engine is of short stroke type then it might run on higher RPMs and it is not at all any issue.
