When you said that you would have to recharge the motor before you could use it again, I'm wondering if you noticed when you were reading through the info (in the first half, when you were reading directions) it stated that the charge lasts 13-15 times (I think those were the 2 numbers; I know the number 15 was in the info). I think you read it as minutes, but the instructions listed the word times. It doesn't matter to me if you want to recharge it, but if you wanted to use it again & if the vessel was still cold enough to work, you might be able to get another batch out of it. Your motor should be charged enough to do that, but I don't know if the double walled aluminum container that had to go in the freezer would still be cold enough or not. Looks fairly decent (but I probably would have just used the PC ice cream maker, if I had one).
