Very beautiful bikes. The orange one is especially eye candy. But in practicality sense I went with a two-tone Heritage Classic. Similar iconic looks and features using the same powertrain, but on the Softail frame. A better all-around fit for me. A can see a lot of these Electra Glides being used as living room displays rather than regular riders.
I totally agree. That makes sense for sure about the frame and fit. Some people do that and so to each their own. I personally wouldn't buy a brand new vehicle and not drive it.
That Highway King looks like a police model Electra Glide with spoke wheels, bag rails, seat rail and tuck and roll upholstery on a police model seat. It also, like the police model, has halogen bulbs rather than LEDs. Still, that is a beauty.
@@BehindTheEnthusiast I liked the nostslgia of the bike. I own a DCT Wing Tour and Deuce, but I recently bought a lightly used 2013 RKC that I added 2014+ hard bags, heritage bars, 2014+ saddlebag guards, and a police seat to mimic this bike for 1/3 the price.
Would definitely be a cool idea. However the Fat Boy got two anniversary options recently. 120th for the company and 30th for the model. 2024 will be Willie G's year though so you never know!
Maybe sales of the RK were down so they discontinued it knowing they would bring out this limited edition and then next year as you say reintroduce the RK again but updated with a 114 engine. Who knows but seems like a good marketing plan to me. Beautiful bikes though even if way out of my price range (and seat hight excludes me too!).
It's very possible! Only time will tell. I've seen some rumours floating around but I don't necessarily want to comment on all of them. I might make a prediction video again but we'll see. I was wrong the other time, lol.
