NEW IDEA How to Make Hidden Paperclip Tabs TUTORIAL 

These are so cute... And thank you for leaving in the blooper because it lets us know that these things happen to everyone. When we watch videos where everything goes perfectly and nothing ever goes wrong, even though we know it's been edited-it tends to make us feel a little less worthy. "She didn't have any problems with it, why is this so hard for me???" It's silly but it happens.

I love to work with tiny decorative embellishments and your idea of this type of item is perfect!!!! My head is "buzzing" with ideas which I always get after watching your videos. Thank you for sharing and making me go crazy trying to execute your inspirations🤗💕😚

Fyi I made some they were so large that they pulled the page down so keep them on the smaller size. Use paper that’s thicker than regular copy paper. Nice tip about decorating it before adding the clip. I love the ideal of making the tab new ideal for me thank you always love watching your ideals. Love the accent.

I saw someone, think Gayle cut a slit in the top of the paper (in your case tab) and have the excess in the top, with an exact knife. Really nice idea! TFS

I really love these little embellishments.. thank you for your take on them. The tutorial I watched went like this... You make a shape you like...add paperclip... Then embellish a layer over the top of that one... That way you don't have the problem of glue inside of it? I love the idea of tab tops though. Xx

Love these!! This solves 2 issues for me. First, I don't like the look of a plain paperclip in my journals so I rarely put anything in that doesn't go into a pocket, tuck spot or sewn in envelope. Second, I love the look of tabs but can never make the decision as too where to glue or sew them in. Answer Paperclip tabs! Thank you!

That’s such a cute idea!

Love this idea, Tina. Perhaps if you slip a small strip of parchment paper in between the two inner squares that are paper clipped together, you could glue right up to the edges, which will make it easier to use the tab, but which will prevent the two inner squares from becoming glued together. Does that make sense? I will have to do this or I'll make a mess of things. Very clever. ~ Lisa

That bit of clip poking out... I would slip the inner papers down closer to the grip end of the clip, so the top of the clip has no paper, rather than the grip end having no paper. Then cut a teeny slit in the tap fold, for that rounded top to poke through the top of the tab, rather than the bottom, and then attach a charm or dangle on that bit. A lot of people mentioned adding a charm to the bit showing, but as it is already a bit fiddly to slide on a page, a charm on that edge may add to the frustration, whereas if it poked out the top, it's not in the way of the functioning part! Hope that makes sense? The reason they are tricky to slide on is because the two little squares of card have to part to allow the page to slip in....for smoother action, just have your bits of card a bit longer, then fold the ends up and back onto the paperclip and then glue them on. That way you'll have a smooth rounded edge of card to slide your page into, and it won't catch on the cut edges anymore. That's my two tiny tweaks that popped to mind whilst watching, just the ways my brain said "I'd do that bit that way to avoid that part" etc... They are my "ideas" and NOT *criticisms* though! Just me thinking out loud. Apart from that they are lovely and a nice idea for a change. Being detachable tabs, rather than fixed, they could be used in many different journals to label the sections... or even used as bookmarks! Very cute! 😘😘😘

You are entirely too critical and harsh on yourself! There is nothing wrong with turning the camera on and playing around with an idea. If someone doesn't like that then they shouldn't be here, that's what junk journaling is all about, and I love it! I'm sure that's why we're all here is to have fun and get some inspiration along the way. We all go through the same process while we're crafting, trying ideas, seeing what works out and what doesn't. I love this idea, I just found a box of paperclips and I was wondering what on earth to do with them.
