Love this thanks so much. The protocol feedback is super helpful EXCEPT when the tech panel MISSES a position in a spin lol. I just competed last weekend. My CCoSp didn’t get its lvl bc they somehow missed my upright position. I have video which clearly shows my upright for 2.5 revs. Not quite sure how to make it more clear for next event but am working on it with my coach. Anyway thanks so much for all you do 😘😘😘
I’ve also seen this happen to other skaters in competition. I know tech panels are ppl too & everyone makes mistakes but it’s frustrating nonetheless

I'm glad it was helpful! If the tech panel missed your position, they would likely argue that the position was not held long enough in the position to get the call. If you think you held it for 2.5 revs, then I would discuss this with your coach. Remember, the tech panel will not count the entrance or exit in the number of revolutions. So, I always recommend that my skaters hold their positions for an additional revolution - I call that insurance ;)

As I explained in the video, this is a domestic U.S. Figure Skating initiative to assist in developing U.S. singles competitors. Protocol Feedback will not be used at international competitions or any U.S. Figure Skating championship or final events.
