Fun fact: the majority of illegals enter the country on work/student visas and stay after it's expired. They make up around 70% of illegals. Of that group, the overwhelming majority come by plane. While "migrant caravans" are a thing, they don't happen all day every day. We definitely need a better handle on the southern border... but that's just a small part of our immigration issues.

Immigrants working in fields is just a small portion of them. These aren't the immigrants of old, they come knowing our laws and knowing what they can get. They protest on the sidewalks in New York b/c they are being moved from a cushy hotel to a shelter so families can be in the hotel.
If americans citizen don't work in a company that gave them and their families health insurance, they have to paid 100% of that bill or the hospital ruined their credit and take them to court, if is 65 and over, qualify for Medicare but still have to paid a high percentage of that bill, not mentioned that the hospital employees overwhelmed patient and family signing documents and questioning. why illegals have the right to get Medicare and Healthcare free if they don't paid state and federal taxes?.. Very unfair because Americans that doesn't have insurance cannot afford paid montly private health insurance.

When I worked construction at least 90% of the dudes were white and the others were affirmative action hires. Construction isn't as dependent on illegals as people think---- you're thinking of residential home repair jobs (i.e. roofing, siding, painting).

Yeah, y'all haven't thought this through. Undocumented migrants bought things. Groceries, gas, and so on. That made local businesses money. If they leave then those businesses lose money. The first thing businesses cut when they lose money are staff and hours for the staff. So now a large number of Floridian business owners and workers just got harmed by that law. Every time an undocumented migrant bought an item they paid sales tax. With them gone Florida now has less tax revenue to spend on programs. To compensate it has to either cut programs or raise taxes. Next you have the effects of a labor shortage since these people made up a huge part of certain sectors. Best case scenario Florida finds all the staff it needs to keep all of it's existing businesses up. However, that takes time. Months to years. Until that happens all the items they help create, and services they help produce, are disrupted. That's lowered supply, which means higher costs for everyone that wants to purchase those products. It also means even less sold items for Florida, which means less revenue for businesses and Florida itself. Which means more cuts to staff and programs. This wasn't smart at all.

There are industries like farming, construction, landscaping etc that solely rely on illegal immigrant workers countrywide.
