I’ve installed these about two months ago. Quite happy with them. The only thing to watch out for is.... the light strips are wrapped with tin foil. So when you try to slip them into the cracks, they have a tendency to kind of rip of a little bit. This creates dark spots on the light strips. So be careful when putting them in. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with them. And I installed them on my w204 C350 coupe.
They need to upload a video for this. www.dmpcardesign.com/12-colours-b-o-3d-tweeter-speaker-sound-audio-for-mercedes-benz-cla-gla-cls-e-ml-gl-gle-gls-class-w218-w117-x156-w212-w207-w166-w292?search=w207#preview-1
Any news on the old spoiler winner? I've finished a few mods to my car thanks to you including side view sequential blinkers, puddle light logos, light up front star, and soon the rear sequential light bar. My new front splitter and gt style black grill are otw. Still need a spoiler though. But I'm thinking an acrylic espresso bronze/brown with black accents. I have "lunar blue" rn which shows every micro scratch.
Hi This video is also a good one. I'm always watching your videos well. My car is w204, and I want to do many things, but I don't have enough time and skills. I'll try to change the navigation soon after I watch your video. Haha
I was gonna order but my w204 don't have an original door handle light. I hope he was gonna show where to drill the hole on door handle and will it will fit ok.
Hello Flexx. I am installing a newer generation of the same product into my car. In your video you show that the door ambient light module is connected to the red/white cable (I made a measurement and it is the permanent Plus connection to the battery). Is it safe to do this, will it not drain my battery?
Stupid question but can this be done on a c43 coupe 2018? I am too scared to do the 64 ambient kit with vents but thats what I would do if this does not work for my car specifications. I saw the older version video and it showed that it does but now the new version is for 2008-2014 as per the title and your description. Cheers boss!!
A small question please if someone could answer quickly. What do you do with the original footwell lights? Do i unplug them or would you have them on along with the new footwell lights? So both will be on?
Hey flexx, I have a w204, I been subscribed for a long time, I live in MA, I wanted to do this ambient light but I dont wanna go to the last guy that installed a screen from dmp, side mirrow lights, and my camera, how about I buy everything, and I pay you for installing it in my car, and maybe u can do a full video? 😬😬😬just dreaming ahah, love ur videos bro, thank u.
Hahahah. You must be living under a rock if you think my views are dead. You know I have 3 cars and one is an R8. My RU-vid is better than ever. No point in getting a 204 when I already did almost every mod available for it.
Flexx you are the only one that can help me , i search alot on interner and nothing , please answer me something, i upgrade the rear bumper with the amg sport look without holes for parking sensor , now i just buy the amg diffuser but comes with 2 holes just in the front of the diffuser one in the left one in the right , are those holes for sensor too ? Whats the name ? Thanks i will appreciate you alot
@@TheFlexxGarage thanks flexx for your time writing me back appreciate you alot i saw the diffuser video already like 20 times 😆 , i am a fan of you channel, hope my new diffuser comes with those caps too 😬 , good day bro
you would need to contact USR directly. Only they have a recommended HID kit that works for their headlights. I don't recommend getting your own HID kit somewhere else since it probably won't be compatible.
Unfortunately no, I installed simmiler ambient light kit on my 2012 w204 with the android 11 screen downloaded the app on the car screen , it's couldn't communicate or connect to the lights controller but worked fine on the phone , tried to chang the permissions sittings etc but nothing worked, eventually I gived up and used only my phone to control it
@@youssefomar3629 No U r wrong ...I can control the ambient from the android screen. Just enable your Bluetooth on your oem screen instead of your android and download the ambient light apps it will work just like on the phone
did you buy it from DMP car design? If you did, then you need to contact them. If you didnt, then that’s a different kit and you need to reach to whoever sold you the kit. Not all kits are the same.
