My IBM stopped to get worse by taking Prednisolone (not Prednisone, it would be bad in my way) not daily, but a big dose only once a week, only saturday morning with breakfast. I am about 68 kg male today, so my dose is 25 pills of 5 mg. It has worked for me, my less affected right side has gained strenght and my left side has now stayed exactly same for a year now. I can measure it by few hundred of grams of strenght at home. The idea of taking them once a week is from animal tests; a daily dose stopped natural muscle repair system in body, but weekly ones boosted it. Adding supplementary kreatine and HMB has also, perhaps, helped. Daily Prednisolone would lead to muscle- and bone loss, in tests, weekly does not. Worked for me...

@@ivang495 My friend was able to swallow easily, raise his arms over his head (could only lift to shoulder level before treatment), and walking was much more easy for him.
