Another Proud Spirit Flight Attendant here! Thank you for the nice review and I hope to see many of you on a future Spirit flight! We are here for you guys. 😁😁 Love, Mom
Hi i was wondering if spirit airline is seating people away from each other? Or is there still a full flight going on right now? And if we are flying in a 3 family group my husband my 3 years old and I. Could we ask to be seated together?
I’ve never had an issue with the service on Spirit. The seats could be a bit more comfortable but overall if you book direct with Spirit you know about all the fees ahead of time.
@@dianeetl1 they are when I flew back to Ohio you can o ly have a seat close to someone is your family no one can sit by you that you don't feel comfortable by
I've flown Spirit Airlines 7 times. I'm actually currently in Fort Myers, Flew in Tuesday through Hurricane Elsa and the ride was surprisingly smooth. A little turbulence. Way less than he warned. A really smooth landing into Hurricane Elsa. I love Spirit and will vouch for them Everytime someone says anything negative. Ijs. All 7 of my experiences were good.
People complain about Spirit airlines but the only major complaint is the hard seats. When I fly them for more than a couple of hours I just buy the "BIG FRONT SEAT" which is still cheaper than the competitors and although it doesn't recline it is comfortable. Spirits planes are fairly new and that gives me assurance of safe travels. I once flew from Baltimore to Dallas TX for $50 round trip and had no issue with buying a drink. The guy next to me paid a low fare also and then complained about buying a soda; which his fat butt didn't need in the first place. People complain about any and everything. If you're too good for Spirit, go ride the other guys, pay the larger discounted fare where the airlines now put you in the last few rows and enjoy the coke.
I like the look of the new Spirit planes. I hope they use these planes from LGA, Newark Liberty or Philadelphia . Flew them in February from EWR to LAS. Very nice ride. If you know what to expect from Spirit, there won't be any surprises. I'd take them before I would take United
These are the exact same seats you can find on Wizz Air's a321neos. They're hard as a rock, but have a much larger legroom tho (compared to older seats) , so i didnt mind it at all
Thanks for this! I am flying Spirit in a few days. I was very apprehensive before watching this! I feel much more comfortable now. Great narration and great vid!!
Very nice video! I always get a kick out of watching these type of airline videos - the takeoff, the landing, looking out the window at the beautiful landscape far below - makes me feel like I'm escaping my own little world even if it is short video! I've always love flying, being in airports and even the happy chaos that comes with it. Looking forward to flying on Spirit one day. Happy travels to all of you!
QFS Aviation and itripreport you guys are my 2 favorite RU-vid tripreporters you’ve both inspired me to try though where I’m from we only have 2 airlines Alaska and delta
Just found your channel , I fly spirit often from Puerto Rico to FLL , TPA and I have to tell you never had a bad experience with them and I for $34 round trip and could never asked for more !! Will look forward to fly soon with spirit !
I may be one of the few people who like Spirit. I live in NYC and own a condo in North Myrtle Beach. It’s one of the few carriers that flies direct to Myrtle which makes the trip quick. It’s perfect for me as I have everything I need in my Condo so I only carry a backpack and require zero extras…except I always opt for the big front seats. I usually get my flights round trip for about $300-$340 and those seats are worth it. I get on early, get my drinks first(they have decent combos) and I’m the first one off. I download my shows and movies beforehand and it’s go time.
Flew Spirit from IND-FLL a few weeks ago on the new interior. I too, was impressed by it. Great crews! I’d definitely fly them again. You do get what you pay for.
ngl, the interior looks AMAZING, and the only problem i have with spirit is the new livery, i liked the grayscale better. i know people love the grayscale.
Wow that cabin is actually pretty nice for a ultra-low-cost jet. I will still likely be purchasing a big front seat upgrade the next time I fly them, though.
Spirit’s market revolve around flights that are 2 hours or less. Yes, there are flights that are 5 hours in length, but that is the exception and not the norm.
I'm actually a big fan of Spirit. I had a flight this week on one of their big front seats and it was a great experience. Once they add wi-fi to all their planes, I don't see why I wouldn't use them for longer flights - as long as I get a bfs or exit row seat.
I drive passed Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe Pennsylvania everyday and I remember they had 9 Planes Stored right next to the road for a couple of months I always thought that was very interesting.. 8 of them were the Yellow livery and 1 was the older White and Blue color scheme
I’ve always loved spirit and can’t wait to try out their new seats in August. My sister lives in Nola and Im out there every other month and always go with Spirit. From LAX -MSY it’s so cheap and very comfortable and have never had an issue. Thanks for the great video!
I just flew from New Orleans to Cleveland yesterday on one of the same new jets as well, I paid for the wider seat and it was quite a comfortable 2.2 hour flight
Just got back from visiting my girlfriend in California and flew Spirit out there and came back to Minnesota with her. We both got the Big Front Seat coming back and were very excited to ride in them. We played Mario Kart on my Switch the whole time and made the trip fun and very fast. However, I felt that in order to appreciate the BFS more, I needed to experience economy on the way out. It was a 3 and a half hour flight and I am 6'2, 230 lbs, not exactly a smaller guy. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. While it was cramped, I was able to make do. The seats, I thought, were actually pretty comfortable and didn't leave my butt sore. I did see they have wifi now installed as well. I didn't get it but they had two options, normal for $2 and streaming for $5. It was nice to see a ulcc including that. Still no plugs though.
I’ve flown Spirit a few years back on one of their A321’s. I flew from BOS-TPA(around 3 hours) and the seats were just as hard as a rock. By the end of the flight, I just wanted to get off the plane because of how soar I was from sitting in those seats. Normally I want to stay in the plane for as long as I can! The crew was amazing and the overall flight was very cheap( I only had one checked bag and a small enough free carry on). My overall experience was a 7/10 only because of the uncomfortable seats and the hidden fees. Other than that stuff, I definitely recommend!
Why do you say "hidden" fees? They are upfront about their fees. It's front and center on their website and everywhere at their gate you see reminder signs that you have to pay extra for certain things. There's nothing 'hidden' about those fees.
Very very quiet engines and a very smooth landing. Love this aircraft. Love the beautiful yellow livery on the outside and the beautiful dark seats on the inside. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💎💎💎💎💎 ❤👍👍
yes, flown on Spirit...just the opposite route, Las Vegas to San Diego several years ago in one of their oldest aicraft...the silver and black aircraft...worse flight of my life , ..yes they nickel and dime you...a flight that was to be $39..one way, turned out to be $98....2 hour delay...terrible seats..no recline....a flight that was to get me to San Diego in 1 hours time , took me over 3 hrs....the flight attendants were a little rude...that was my first and last time flying spirit.
New Engines are crazy powerful compared to 30 years ago. Imagine you needed 4 engines at that time! Nice vid. BTW you should consider cutting your nails lol Thought you were a girl.
I love spirit. My friends call me the spirit goddess. The flight attendants are warm and friendly they also have a terrific sense of humor. One thing I don’t understand is the club membership benefits. I have been a member for four years but I do not know how I benefit.
Loving the new interior! Yes, I've flown Spirit back in 2003 I think, when it wasn't the LCC that it is today. They operated a fleet of DC9's and MD80's, and I flew them just on a round trip ORD-LAX-ORD. Old blue livery. I loved it 'cause they were basically a regular airline but just not as popular, and so seat selection and luggage were free plus they served complimentary drinks and a snack pack. Haven't flown them since as I concentrated on Northwest and United during the following years. - Red
Nice video! These reviews are a very different style compared to the kinds I make and usually watch but it's very well made and gets a big like! Good work
I've flown Spirit a couple times going to and from Panama. I paid the extra $55 for the big seat in the front. It was really worth it, because I got on and off first. I bought the tickets a few months in advance. So I could add the luggage at my leisure. Their time slot for arriving in and leaving out of Panama (via Fort Lauderdale, FL) is in the wee hours of the morning. I slept on the plane most of the time.
I've never flown Spirit, and probably never will. I like my "creature comforts" (i.e. - leg room), proper snakes (or meals when they return), so Comfort Plus is what I choose. Liked the shot of the three solar plants on approach to LVS. Man those towers are bright. Of course being in the desert, they will be. The take off from SDG was really impressive. Of course you mentioned only about 70 PAX, with short flight to LVS, that makes for a rather light T.O. weight. So... UP WE GOOOOO........ Cheers....
Nice take off and landing.Vegas is a mountain lined region.Your are pretty much assured to run into choppy air.Plus global warming and all.Very professional crew.
I like the yellow livery Spirit Airlines paint their planes in. I like quirks like that within the airline industry. Over in England, TUI paint their planes blue, and easyJet sometimes paint theirs green.
Spirit is the bomb, I always fly with them. I've gone to south and central america for ridiculous low prices, and now new planes, I'm there 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Thanks for the video. Btw did they install WiFi?
Greetings from Venezuela, it is the first of your videos that I see and I like the quality of the image through the windows it seemed that they did not have glass haha I am going to look at all your other videos to see if they are the same quality
I flew cross country a few times on Spirit. The seating was horrible. This was a year or so ago. It was awful. The leg room sucked and the seats were hard as roxks.
Hey! Just came across your tube, so glad! Looked like a smooth landing. Will be tuning in to more of your travels. Thanks for the great video. The Travel Agent "Just subscribe."
My first time seeing the jumpseat in the front has only one cabin crew, no one is seating behind him and my first time seeing the back galley with that design lol
LAX - LAS for $35? Yes! I run my own business so every dollar saved is precious and so, Spirit is a common way for me to get around the country. A Not So Secret Spirit Saving is to buy your ticket at an airport with a Spirit counter and knock off the ticketing fee, which is around $30. This can result in a cool no frills fare of $35 and lower. I fly often enough that I'm at a Spirit airport and if the counter is open (warning this is not a given, 24x7) I grab an in person ticket.
