My first ever new tractor. It replaced a NH TL90 as my chore and hay making tractor. So far so good!

Thank you for the review, not much info out there about these. We bought one blind because at 40k, zero down, 0% and all the features was a no brainer. We have had some problems as I mentioned in your follow up vid, but we really like this machine coming from open station ford 5600 and a borrowed JD cab e series, this makes hay much better!
@DennysCountryLife
@DennysCountryLife Год назад
Compared to older open station machines, this is luxury. I know there are people with higher end tractors that would hate this cab configuration, but I'm plenty happy with it. I really don't like the JD E series cab. It feels VERY cheap compared to the Workmaster. Also has less options, and cost more. I hope it holds up for many years. Best of luck with yours! Thanks for watching.

They make a great tractor. A long time ago I had a TZ24DA and that thing impressed me all the time. Make sure to get a good ballast box or something. The loaders can lift more than the tractor can handle. It'll save your front axle a LOT of pain too. Enjoy the new machine Darren!

I saw a video where you just remove the plastic and raise up the rubber boot. There is a nut you can loosen and rotate the tighten nut
@marchindy

That is awesome, you did good getting a new one and the warranty is a nice piece of mind. Maybe do some searching around on the net and see if you can move the metal loader control arm counterclockwise and reposition the control handle . Can't hurt to look. Hope all is well with your family take care, Rick.

@@DennysCountryLife we are well now but we were all sick during Christmas with fluronia. Used prices for anything are crazy, I was looking to upgrade trucks and it was cheaper to buy new. Ended up with a 2022 F250 7.3 gas ordered it and waited 3 months for it and it was worth the weight and I got a super deal on it and got a great trade in. Take care.

Great video! You probably already figured out, but you can move that loader joystick really easily just take the boot off (I removed all 4 screws on that lower housing) and there is a single nut to loosen around that rod. Then just move it where you want it (not too much because it will interfere with the shifter).

Just caught your video .Congrats on the new unit.We just got the same model. I have a hyd top link and ssqa bucket attatchment. What i should have added was the self leveling loader. I found the loader lever weird also but overall i love the tractor .I have 135 hrs on it with no trouble .I move logs with it alot in our operation.It lifts a tremendous amount and we have not had a log i could not lift with it .Cant wait to do hay with it! I had my trans/hyd fluid thicken up to the point of vaseline when it got below -5 had to put ready heater on to grt it flowing again .The dealer changer all hyd/trans fluids and hyd filters. The fluid from the factory was a problem i was told also i found out from others with the same unit on line had the same problem.It started right up then the hyd warning light came on and it shut down due to no flow. It has been ok after the fluid change .The factory fluid was a different type/viscosity, once changed it was ok!

That's really good info! Thank you. We get temps about that cold once of twice a year. We hit -6 with a wind chill, and the tractor didn't seem to have any issue, so maybe they fixed that. I've got 73 hours on mine, and have really enjoyed it. The only issue I had was, when they filled the tires, they didn't air them up to match the fronts. This made the trans bind up just a little, which made a big "clunk" when it would disengage from 4wd. I aired them up to 22psi, and that problem was solved. So far, the joystick isn't bothering me like I thought it would. Mostly it just makes it so you can't get in/out from that side. Thanks for watching, and I hope it's a great machine for both of us!

Really nice Chris! It's interesting to see the differences between that cab and my T4.75 cab. Minor things but interesting to see where they relocated switches. That 3rd SCV is gonna be so nice. I wish my T4 had that and the top of the cab window for high loader work. I'm not very tall, but still have to lean forward in my T4 to see the loader arms up high. Almost 700 hours on my T4 and my biggest cost has been a broken clutch pedal spring(other than the required maintenance items). Looking forward to real world videos of it in use.

Yeah, I just recently sat in a T-4 75 cab. Great layout. I like the "command arc". Your PTO switch is probably in a better spot (on the right hand side, push-pull button). Glad to hear it's been a reliable machine for you. The sunroof visibility feature has come in handy a few times now. I feel pretty spoiled. Hard to believe this is an "economy tractor". I hope all is well on the ranch Zach. Thanks for taking the time to watch

Funny... my sister bought a very similar Workmaster 75 as well last year. Had a little issue with the transmission this winter, hope it gets worked out. Only briefly sat in it, but it is laid out nice along with some quirks for maintenance that might be annoying. Should be a nice little machine. 84 is a good width, helps not to have it too wide for the front axles and handling weight. Keep us posted if you have any issues along the way, will want to know... I'll let you know as well anything comes up.

Information for NH WM75 owners - I have a 1.5 year old WM75, 149 hours - it has been in the shop 4 times for the wiring harness to injectors issues - (referenced below by other owners as well) the root issue is the swivel connector on the end of the wires that route to actual injectors - that connector will fail intermittently resulting in an apparent loss of fuel flow and power reduction. The tech bulletin fix is to tape up the connector to prevent movement - I accepted that fix and it lasted 1 hour of run time. The dealership has installed another wiring harness on the injectors which I am told has been re engineered and no longer has the swivel connector. If you have this problem with your tractor - don't accept the "tape fix" - it does not work. Aslo don't accept "we put it on the dynamometer and it is fine" - the repair needs to be field checked, i.e. vibration of bouncing in the field. the local dealer tells me he has sold several of these tractors and mine is the only one with the problem... not sure why it is only mine.
@ricksanchez7459
@ricksanchez7459 Год назад
Ours wouldn't run right if left out in the rain. Low power and missing bad. It drove me nuts for a month as its hard to keep out of the rain all the time. I took apart the big connector on the computer in front of the engine and discovered the seal in it was pinched from assembly. Fit it back carefully and no more problems.

The T4020 I had was a 12 speed, but only went 17 mph, where the newer generation Workmaster 75 has a 12 speed that tops @ 24mph. I do a lot of roading, so that's a big deal for me. The hydraulics are MUCH faster than the T4020, another really big deal for me. The loader speed was disappointing. Otherwise, the T4020 was a fantastic tractor, and I would buy another one if I was in the market.
