The day has finally arrived for Isshiki Ōtsutsuki to make his grand debut in the Naruto Storm Series! He has been a character many have been waiting for and let me tell you… he didn’t disappoint. Everything is remarkable about this character at the moment and there is no stopping him. His speed, his amazing normals, his jutsus and overall damage are just insane! Once you figure out his gameplan it is very easy to overthrow your opponent with heavy moves that will make them crumble before you!
Isshiki has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu allows him to teleport in the air and perform a divekick straight down on your opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a bounced state and the radius of this move is just perfect. You don’t necessarily have to be close to your opponent whenever you are using this jutsu which makes it a very solid mid-range attack. It can also be performed when you are in the air. This gives it even more utilities and increases its overall effectiveness. It is also a natural combo extension tool, so be sure to mix it into your combo whenever you have the chance for extra damage (and sauce)!
His second jutsu lets him shoot out a fireball that has pretty impressive speed and damage to it. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a grounded state, so it’s not really a tool to use during combos. It is however a nice neutral/keepaway tool that can definitely catch a lot of opponents off guard. Be sure not to use it too close though, because the recovery on this jutsu is pretty long.
His awakening transforms him into a different beast though with unique features added to him. During his awakening no ninjutsu will be able to touch him, since it will automatically be absorbed and made into your own. This makes his awakening very strong and one of the most unique awakenings in the game so far. His combo damage is also increased by a lot and he can make quick work of any enemy in his path!
Overall, Isshiki is an amazing character and definitely worthy of being called an Ōtsutsuki! Try him out for yourself if you haven’t already!
