New itek SLIMLINE Dash Cam by SoundLogic In-Depth Full HD Review 2016 

I have one, but the ok button has turned into a menu button. So the menu button is menu and the ok button is menu, so it doesn't ok any menu options. Dose this dash cam have a menu lock or has it crashed.

Anyone know how to turn the screen off? I have 2 of these (one in front and one for the back) both of them are set to auto turn off the screen after 1 minute and neither one turns off.....its very distracting while driving!

I got a question ❓In Settings, Is there a option to select Automatic Overwrite SD Card when SD Card is Full? I have a SD Card inserted into this dashcam. After a week of using this dashcam I get a message on the screen that reads, Disk drive is Full in red letters. Shouldn't this dashcam automatically overwrite the SD Card when disk is Full? I don't see a setting for SD Card options. All I find is Format option. No setting for automatic overwrite SD Card when disk is Full. I've had other brand dashcams that had the setting to choose automatic overwrite SD Card when Full. Does this camera have this option setting because, I'm not finding it in settings or Menu anywhere. Considering, this camera takes a small size SD Card. You would think, the camera automatically overwrites the SD Card when disk is Full. This camera states it requires a max 32 G SD Card. I've inserted a 256 G SD Card and it records to that 256 G SD Card. I keep getting Disk Full after a week of use. I take it, you have to manually Format the SD Card everytime the disk becomes full?

So I've been using this for a couple of weeks and I only paid 20 bucks for it but it isn't too bad. The motion sensor option is awesome saves a lot of card space. The camera is slow to adjust to light which I assume why it has a hard time seeing the license plate. I was watching a wind storm at the water front a couple days ago and the video was pretty good at a stand still and the waves coming in was clear. as soon as a started to move my truck the video was adjusting to light too much.. still not too bad, it does the job. My testing has been concluded. I'll keep it. I was a bit weary of it when I posted my last comments.

According to the key features in the manual, it has loop recording. I can't find anywhere how to do that. When the card is full, it stops recording. Can it really do loop recording; and how do you set it up for that mode?

Mine's just stuck at the welcome screen and the "OK" button turns it on or off. What a whacky gift.

Just bought mine and it works great, I set it up in the three different modes and found that it works best on 720 and VGA the 1080P to me is not as clear but for $25.00 at Meijer is well worth it. I do like the idea of the time stamp running on the video as some of my other dash cams such as my Pilot cam that I paid $40.00 at Wally World doesn't work. I will give it a few more days since I an just getting it mounted in my truck to see how well it works overall. If it works good I will purchase a spare one.

How do I save a video from being over written? My other cam I just touch the OK button, is this one the same? Thanks

Seriously, Mine just went up in smoke on a busy 4 lane roundabout! Loud popping sound followed by the smoke and stink of burning plastic! Less than a month old! I did buy 2. One for the back and one for the front, The other one just stopped working and the fittings were so loose the leads would just work their way loose. Be safe, pay a bit more for a decent one. I have seen a decent Dash cam made by HP.

I got this same dash cam a few weeks back. on the description it says it has loop recording to write over previous recorded video but not delete after a crash because the g-sensor saves it permanently but after its full it just stops recording. Any ideas why??

okay - my dog must have eaten my owners manual - how do you toggle between night mode and day mode? (LED's on and off?) Also my dashcam would freeze constantly, where a manual reset became mandatory - drove me nuts to the point of disassembling, and finding that microphone was directly behind the camera lens - a good inch away from where the engineer designed its location: this noticeably bent the board and appeared to stress the electronics - I relocated the mic to its proper place and with fingers crossed, that solved the problem. All of that and I still cant figure which button to hold for the LED's. Bad dog.

Sure doesn't look like 1080P resolution. Have you played the contents of the memory card on a computer screen or a 1080P television to see what the image looks like there?

I think this dash can has alot of problems. I bought 1 and the 4 GB card that came with it wouldn't lock in. So I took it back. Then I put a 32 GB card in and recorded Video's to it. Then put the 32GB card in the reader. My computer COULDN'T Read the Card. I had to do a work around. I put the 32GB chip into a Tablet that I had and was able to transfer the Videos over. The cable from the Camera to the USB That came with the Camera wouldn't log into my Computer at all. I will use it for now until i can get some thing alot better.

Well I only paid 5.00 for mine. Seems I got what it's worth. First time I pressed that orange button (another video said it's to lock a recording.) Mine pushed right inside the unit. NO clue what the video settings actually mean. Showing me where they are doesn't help. Instructions are beyond useless.

used camera today first time, battery died after 15 mins of use.

Do not get this camera. It sucks! I used it on a driving trip, and it didn't record when I was driving. It only recorded when I was parked. The user interface sucks too, it's hard to know if it's been recorded or not. And the menu interface sucks, trying to go from Capture to Setup mode. I don't know how this can be used for security purposes since each video is only limited to about 5 minutes!

1st one wouldnt record and 2nd one records - but there are no feckin files saved !!!!!!!!!!.Been thinking all the files saved NOTHING there!!!!!.Hello ? where is saved files folder ??? damn feckin lazy you not mention this vital info!

I found very shortly after I purchased iTek Slimline Dash Cam By SoundLogic that I made very big mistake. This product it's nothing else but pure garbage. I wouldn't recommend this product to my biggest enemy.. In fact anything I found in showcase store it's pretty much the same junk. Don't waist your money buying anything from them.. You will regret...

dash cam is terrible, doesn't record in 1080p more like 360p. its a cheap piece of shite that advertises 1080p.

Piece of crap , No a/v out, No HDMI out, Video angle about 60-70 Deg. No 1080, it is more like 240. Manual shows diagram with a HDMI cable, USB cable, none of these included in the box.
