Excellent choice. Is that to join an existing system or have you paired it with the JBL Stage speakers? We should have our 9100HP in the showroom very soon and are really excited to test it out.
@@ExpressiveAudio yes I have paired them up with the 280 the center 245C I think and my subwoofer is different. It’s an svs micro 3000. It’s a little sub but man is it really impressive. After unboxing the 280, I have realized it’s much bigger than I anticipated. The base is large. Might consider the 260. The receiver is not here yet but I am coming from a marantz cinema 60. I needed more channels but if I wanted more watts… it was going to cost me! Plus the size is very difficult to live with sometimes! lol

Yes, while the 280F will undoubtedly provide a bigger soundstage, it is also about 10cm taller, and 5cm wider/deeper in terms of footprint, so may feel a bit more imposing in a smaller room. We've always been impressed with SVS subwoofers as well, and there is definitely something to be said for buying a sub from a specialist sub company.
