Thank you very much for sharing this video. Having recently attended his seminar in the UK, it is nice to have a reminder of the drills we covered. Many thanks once again.

Yes, it is. With the same 70% unnessecary overdrilling of Hubud Lubud as in FMA or JKD/WC Trapping. But the transitions to the balance breaks and body pushes are more often used. Which is good i.m.o.. Thanks for the long video. Trapping still is a distance that transitions to fast into grappling to get this much attention.
Dear karatecs, all this fuss with twisting arms and throws loses its meaning if the opponent is physically superior (weight, height, strength,). The proposed movements are mostly far-fetched, requiring superiority of physical parameters over the enemy and perfect balance. I understand that this is a feature of the style, but I would like to see the effectiveness and victory of the weak over the strong due to technique.
the point is to remove the arms out of the equation. that's what he's doing. they don't do sport competition, nor are they interested. this okinawan karate is meant for self defense kid. go watch muay thai or something instead, you obviously don't understand what's going on in this style.
@@quickstep2408 A straight stance, little moving legs, primitive wrestling in a stance, no wrestling on the floor, sweeping arm movements - I understand this style well, its pros and cons.
It has nothing to do with that, everything you see comes from kata and Goju ryu basic exercises...specialy with krav maga which is a mix of diferent arts and a younger art than karate.
Brother that was a good comment about it looking like wing chun. That is because 99% of karate has lost the original concepts that this instructor is teaching. I promise you, he did not steal this from anywhere.
