Hey @Chicago Geographer there is actually something pretty interesting about the town Wellsboro you saw in the first game, it is a historic town they were known for “saving Christmas” during ww11 they produced the overwhelming majority of Christmas Ornaments(glass) for like 20 or 30 years because most of the ornaments back them were imported from Germany, I think it said they produced 90% of the ornaments in the USA for awhile! Apparently a lightbulb manufacturing company was asked if they were able to mass produce ornaments instead of lightbulbs since I guess they have best machines back then to do it so Wellsboro is known as the Christmas town, please look up pictures of Wellsboro during Christmas it’s look a place out of a Hallmark movie! And north central PA is quite nice and QUIET Tioga county is really rural but nice area out in middle of nowhere pretty much.

Pennsylvania was 'home' for most of my life - and that first drop was somewhere I've driven past a thousand times in my life - I knew it right away. It's always so interesting to play this game and get plunked down someplace your brain recognizes right away :) I miss the food from PA - it's very different from food in the PNW/Seattle. No Lebanon balogna, no whoopie pies, no Maryland crabs :)

crazy to see morris rd on here! the northeast extension of the pa turnpike usually has like 10 miles between exits so you were lucky it didn’t take even longer to see a sign haha

This is my least favorite non-southeast IG map, it's a very difficult one with its crazy number of highways and towns! It was the last map I had to get a time under 4:00, which I got sometime after this was recorded. You definitely got some very impressive times.

Nice video! IG-PA is a very hard map, and even I as a local struggle with it a lot. But your performance and knowledge was very impressive, great job!

I'm born and raised in South Florida but my family is from Pittsburgh so I remember going there as a kid. More recently as an adult we've visited Amish Country. Beautiful state!

I've never lived in PA, but I've lived in OH, NJ, and Western NY, so I've been all over PA. Based on what I saw in this video, I'm better at region guessing PA than I thought I was.

Well, since I live near DC, I have much experience in PA, going back decades. When I was in my 20s, we used to drive to Philly for concerts at places like World Cafe Live and The Point in Bryn Mawr (RIP). And then we would turn around and drive back to Virginia the same night. We were younger then. Aside from that, I went to Scranton once, getting caught in crazy fog on 81 around Hazleton en route and that was very scary. Scranton has a couple of ok blocks and the rest is just sad. Also also, my sister and I took her kids to Hershey Park in 2019. What a crazy marketing opportunity for Hershey. Unfortunately, it isn't much else.

Only been to Philly and Pittsburgh and both for short visits. Did catch a pirates game, gotta go back for a Phillies game.

Nice vid as always. I've mostly traveled to PA for work. Small towns like Warren, and a lot of time in a Philly suburb too. Visited Philly once, thought it was a cool city.

I've been waiting for the PA map! I'm born and raised in Willow Grove (right outside of Philly) and have spent lots of time in and around Philly for college and work. I have friends who live in Landsdale too so it was cool to hear a little shout out haha

wow CG got SUPER lucky with those seeds, he almost beat my PB. Most rounds on that map are so rural or middle of nowhere small towns that you can't even scan for

I have never been to Penn but if I were to go, I would want to visit Pittsburg.

I live right near pa 65, and have been to that intersection of 79 and Blackburn road, there is a distillery there that is nice, 65 is possibly worst road in the state, very dangerous. Also Pittsburgh area has a meta where there are 3 circular reflectors on the pole.

Fun how in that Reading round that inscription would also kind of make sense if you read Reading as reading 😊 I've passed through Philadelphia by train when going from DC to NYC, but I can't say I remember much...

One of the phew stats I feel like I’ve explored a bit. Would drive through the mountains to get to MD or NYC which is very nice. Been to Harrisburg when I was younger and most recently, went to Pittsburg for USA Nationals Rubik’s cube competition.

I've been to Philly and Pittsburgh and have relatives in New Castle, so I've been there a few times. Other than that, I've camped in a few PA state parks and driven through on 90 innumerable times!
