I’ve been watching you since you started, my son was an infant (he’s 8!) and it was when I was really down and low and didn’t have many people to turn to. I had books, and I had booktube + you. Your channel and videos truly have helped me in so many ways, as a person finding myself and as a reader. I’ve seen the many yous that you’ve been; and I’ve loved every one of them! I can’t wait to see what this chapter of life brings you and whatever parts you choose to share will be wonderful. I love the idea of a variety type channel!! I owned every Taylor Jenkins Reid before I read a single one of her books - and I found her first three books to be almost impossible to enjoy. They felt stilted and just without anything I liked. But then I read Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones, and I loved them both, and then hated Malibu Rising. So, you're not alone. Malibu Rising is in line with the story format of her other novels. I'm interested to see what this new book brings.

We don’t often read the same kinds of books, so I mostly watch your channel because I like you as a person and enjoy hearing you talk about what you’re reading, your thoughts on things, and the bits of lifestyle stuff. Hailey, I've been a subscriber for 6 years now. Actually A little over that now and you're still one of my favorite booktubers... and I just want to say that I look up to you so much. I want you to do what's best for you and your mental health. Knowing your new job is making you happy, makes me happy. And whether you upload once a week, once a month or not at all (even though I'd miss your smiling face if that was the case) I will always be a supporter and just want you to do what best for you as an individual. I’m in the same boat as you have been. Not just because I’m also a hailey 😆 but I’ve been struggling HARD with being self employed in a creative specialty. I’m just stressed 24/7 and feel like I’m never working enough and am super uninspired. It was fine as a side gig in school but now as a full time thing it’s so hard. I’d be very interested in hearing your process for finding your job and learning how to make your way into a field you were interested in. I have no idea what’s even out there or how to look!

You were one of the first booktubers I followed when I first started watching booktube about 4 years ago, shortly after I finished college, and I am so incredibly excited for you and this new path!! Your videos have been a comfort to me through a lot of ups, downs, and major life changes, especially as you were going through your own. Congratulations on your new position and I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. I'd love to see you have more fun with the books you're reading like using your love of makeup to create a makeup look that you think the main character would wear. Or books you think would make a great movie and cast the roles with actors you think would play the roles well. And as a writing challenge, if there's a book or books you think deserve a different ending, write an alternative ending for the book. But ultimately, do whatever you love to do, best wishes to you!

Congrats on taking the time and energy to feel out who you are and what you want to do with your life! I also made a major career change this year to pursue my passions and improve my mental health. It is difficult to transition at first, but the change will be worth it. I hated Malibu Rising, but have loved all of the other Taylor Jenkins Reid books I have read. There were too many unnecessary characters introduced with not enough pay off for me.

I would love to see the other side of books. Like how the publisher decides what books they want to publish & then once they’ve decided what happens next; how do they go about it etc etc. How they decide the design of the book, the cover etc. I think that would be really interesting. I guess it also depends on if you’re allowed as your work may not like that 😀

I just finished Hot British Boyfriend by Kristy Boyce 🇬🇧 and it was good, I gave it 3.75 stars. I enjoyed some bits in the book but they do sometimes talk about art history and even though I didn't do it at school, I found it boring but if anyone is interested in art history, this might be the book for you 😊😊😊

i filled out the form, but then remembered something else. For video ideas why not do similar to Alexandra Roselyn and Darling Desi.. do like seasonal themed videos. So like a fall day, a winter day (even if you don't do any reading, just the general aesthetic of you enjoying the seasonal activities are my favourite things to watch) .. I do regularly rewatch your book recs for fall/winter because just trying to get the vibes back because I love fall and I'm constantly rewatching any videos themed around the fall season just to live back in that moment again.

See, that's why I can't fully get into enemies-to-lovers. No matter how small a thing, if someone does something to irritate/inconvenience/annoy me, I'm immediately done with them and if I can't get away from them then I will continue to pick up on more awful (to me) traits. I sat next to someone at work who chewed their snacks a little to loud for my liking, and by the end of my time there I would feel physically ill every time I saw them.

omfg susie j todd australian youtuber yeah i watch her too xD the work out vids i dont really watch bc im not into working out but if u did vids like that im sure some people would be into it!! yeh same rn im a bit burnt of reading netgalley books, i think since last year i started just reading from netgalley and reviewing and this ebook im reading rn im just not enjoying it it just so similar to everythin else ive read from there (same genre, survival in wilderness) and idk the characters are kinda annoying and useless and meh im not havin fun so i think ill ve to dnf and just start reading my tbr again . i feel so much more pressure to read netgalley ebooks i request bc ive to review them xD even if i pick ebooks im interested in and are up my alley

It depends on how much you can deal with food mentionings and heavy exercise stuff. Right off the bat, if you just got out of a care place (Veritas, ERC, etc.), i wouldnt. If its triggering, i wouldn't watch them. If you are doing better i would watch them if you really want to, but with caution. Hope i helped!
