I'd wear this everyday!! This is beautiful and they colors are not those reddish, orangey shades like everything else out there today!!

jennifer brock I'm a respiratory therapist in iCU and would totally wear this too!! My patients used to say they enjoyed us with make up .,. That it lifted them up . I feel since we wear scrubs... It's our only way to show our personality . I can understand in Amy's environment ..., in a suit ... It could be too much . But... When I was Director of Cardiopulmonary , I prib still would have worn it ;)

jennifer brock love it! 👍👍 As someone who, thanks to a rare neuro disease, has spent WAY too much of my life as a patient, I always really appreciate when nurses, docs, etc actually show a bit of who they are rather than stripping themselves of all personality in the same of professionalism. While it's of course not going to change a medical situation, IMO adding some color, sparkle, shine, style, etc in the midst of an often drab medical environment - be it through makeup, cute shoes, or a sassy surgical cap - can only be a good thing!!

Amy McMahel from the patient's perspective I agree 100%! I love when nurses, docs, etc add a bit of flair/ personality through makeup, shoes, surgical cap/ mask! Everything else being the same I'll take the person w/ some sparkle on their eyes or a cool pattern on their surgical cap anyday!!😎

Sunfish OutOfWater I tell my husband, it makes me easy to remember! I normally only respond to problems, etc, sometimes a tough IV. People honestly seem to like it, and when I tell people they can always ask for a nursing supervisor, I tell them they don't need to even remember my name, just say the one that wears purple lipstick and everyone will know who they mean 😎

I'm sooo glad to see you review this!!! I want this sooo bad!! Loving your haircut!! Mine is past mid back now... I'm tempted to cut it !! I'm disappointed in bikini.... That's the one I'd prob wear the most , and I already have this shade in a weak shimmer form . I'm so glad you pointed that out!! You are the first review I've seen do that !! Getting it free often seals people's lips ... Doesn't it? How do these compare to MUG foiled shadows ? Have you tried the new Dose of Colors palettes ?

+Amy McMahel I definitely think this palette would be perfect for you!!! MUG foiled shades are thicker and more dense. These are lighter and thinner but I think both basically achieve the same sparkly outcome! Nope no dose of colors palettes in my collection they never really interest me! Thanks for watching amy 😀💕

SO glad to see your review of this pop up! I've been eyeing it & heavily considering making the purchase, but only want to do so if - aside from the one "off" shadow - the shadows are really something special that I don't already have something similar to. In terms formula &/ or appearance on the eye, do they remind you of any other shadows? Anything like KVD's Metal Crush, Lorac's metallics (i.e. from pro or unzipped palettes), Viseart's metallics (in Petit Pro or Theory palettes), or elf's Prism palettes? Thanks SO much for any additional thoughts!

+Sunfish OutOfWater Id say they are closest to elf prism palettes because both have a lightweight thin formula but I think jouer is more pigmented and packs more of punch! Hope that helps love! 😀💕

Makeup by Amy Michelle it does...thx so much! I'm still torn re: whether to take the plunge but am leaning toward giving it a try & really appreciate the additional info. Elf's Prism shadows truly are SO fab, & unbelievably so so given the budget friendly price. Anyhoo, for better or worse I generally do a good amount of research on pretty much anything over $10 - beauty-related or otherwise - but REALLY go into overdrive for anything that isn't easily returnable😜. You're consistently so great @ replying to questions, etc & it truly is SO appreciated! 🔆

+Cynthia Brewer I have one small palette of hers and the ND formula is definitely thicker and more dense. The jouer ones are very lightweight and much thinner formula! Hope that helps 💕

I Love your new hair and your reviews!!! BUT, I can't say the same for this Palette. Firstly, there's no matte for transition colour. All shimmers?? The colours are not even cohesive enough for me. I have hooded eyes so yeah, nah. I'll pass. You are seriously rocking this new hair!!!

Make-Up Addiction it's not intended to be a comprehensive palette but rather a more of a supplemental set of metallic/ shimmer shades. It's definitely not for everyone though!

When I first saw this palette I was drawn to it, but I think it's a pass for me. The price point, only six shadows, two that are not stellar ... pass. Thanks for the review and swatches.
