I am a Kashmiri Muslim ,I once met an old aged, very well qualified Kashmiri Pandith in tain while travelling from Delhi to Banaglore .He told me all the stories how we used to live together .I believe me and every kashmiri has a dream that Kashmiri pandiths should return to Kashmir (Their home ) .I wish this dream gets fulfilled and an example of brotherhood and Kashmiryat gets set again ..... I feel good when I see kashmiri pandits stick to their culture after being away from the valley for so many years. We all suffered the same in this town! May peace and brotherhood prevail

Few months back my mom got a call from a random number. Just as she said, "hello! Who is this?" I could hear my mom consoling the other person to stop crying and sobbing. But then i saw my mom crying as well. Then they talked and talked for hours. When they were done and after enquiring, I got to know it was her childhood friend, Meem (Kashmiris are good at nicknames) who now lives in Jammu. They used to play and spend most of the time together, before they were parted in '89. I could see an apparent happiness on my mother's face. After that we talk/video chat regularly and I'm hoping to host them soon. I just want to watch them talk to each other and recall old days, stories and stuff ( in a cozy wintery night with a Kangri and pheran). And you know that day, before she hung up, she asked my mom to say salam to the land and the temple. It was just heart breaking! We are one. Let's stay United. Let's shun hatred. ☮️
