Gagan, I'm an owner of 2020 Sonet and what i would have appreciated from Kia, was to provide the rear seat recline and travel adjustment (just like Hyundai Casper). If this was incorporated, Kia Sonet would have been a very good sub 4 meter vehicle
It's been 4 years now for my Venue 1.0l turbo. It's the first generation. And gagan bhaiya is right in terms of fuel efficiency. If you push it harder it won't give you more than 10kmpl. And traffic me it goes below 8 sometimes. (talking wrt manual). In highways. Recently did a 1600kms trip with my venue and average efficiency i got was 13.5 in total which is okay ish. Obviously I was crushing at 100-120 kmph on highways.
@@abhinavverma8478 yup brother but it never goes up. Tab hi 14-16 milega jab aapki speed 80-100 rahegi alll the time. Other than that kabhi nahi milega mileage
@@basitalam4893 bro i have nexon which weighs more than venue of approx 100 kgs more and the displacement is also more 200 cc and i get 19-20 on 80-100 and above that 16 with 5 people luggage on so idk you need to check the injectors of your vehicle

I have driven fortuner legender, it never gives, I have driven harrier diesel it never gives at any cost. I have driven compass it never gives, Hector never, thar never so how your car is giving that. Hell even my friends new gen wgaonr gives 17kmpl-20kmpl on highways cruising at 100-110 and soemtiems 21kmpl.
Have been driving htx iMT for the past 4 months . So far so good. Had a doubt about the performance of clutchless gear transmission in the hills, but just yesterday did a trip from Itanagar to Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh and didn't face any issue other than fact that u need to press the race a little hard .. just little hard in hilly slope to keep the momentum in the same 3rd / 4th gear.
1. How to Pickup DCT on traffic slopes 2. How to drive DCT in bumper to bumper traffic - D to N or Keep it in D if it is less than 20-30 secs? 3. On slopes while parking P & Handbrake both to be used? 4. Normal Parking what is required only P or even handbrake is also required? 5. While car comes at halt is the idle practise to put from D to N, apply handbrake, then R To P? 6. Advisable to use Manual gear modes in downhill & uphill? 7. While driving at certain speed 50kmph i shifted into manual mode what will happen? All Qs are Based on DCTs only. If you could make a video on this would be really helpful.

Gagan your analysis is correct, because findings are from a customer's point of view.its 1.5 lL diesel with manual transmission is my favourite, i do prefer torque over the BHP .
@gagan, i want your advice. Currently i am using sonet 1 ltr turbo petrol DCT. While driving In the speed range of 10 to 20kmhr, basically in city traffic, whenever i press break, speed declined but when i removed by foot from break peddle, the speed increases back to previous speed without i touching accelerator paddle. Whats the issue here or is this the way DCT works

Hello gagan ji, I just want a short advice from your side.. I am currently in class 12 (science stream) and want to pursue my studies by doing BTech. But at a point I am very much confused between what branch should I opt for, Automobile or Mechanical engineering and I have a huge huge interest and good knowledge about cars and bike but seeing future scopes doing mechanical is finding better to me. Also my parents suggest me to prepare for the government jobs (typically for better earning and future). I really want you to please help me in this dilemma as I also aware that you have done automobile engineering in your time(if am not wrong!😅) Btw I do watch all your videos, the presentation and your humour each and every thing is amazing!! ❤😊

Even in ME, you have college groups who make atv's & you will find a lot of like minded folks. But if you are doing Automobile engineering, try doing it from a good University.
I work in automotive industry. Don't take mechanical. Go for CS or ECE, and later you can work on digital/control systems for vehicles. Good future and pays well

I like this kind of electric seats because we can do minor changes/adjustments on the go while driving. While driving, Aaage piche aur recline change nhi kar sakte. I know while driving nahi karna chahiye par kabhi kabhi minor adjustment karna padta hai

True after bs6 phase 2 fuel efficiency has been decreased i have sonet gtx+ diesel tc too just bought in November and also have seltos bs6. And i noticed it.

My elder brother recently had an accident on Noida expressway and I must say tata Tiago (his car) safe his lifee, his car was brutally crashed by a bus at a high speed even the air bags got opened.. my brother and his friend bother were unharmed while nearybe people were thinking they'd be dead bcoz of the disastrous condition of the vehicle.. that's the trust and importance of "safety" in cars and tata just never disappoints.
We have the sonet(pre face lift) and it's interior, doors and everything inside the cabin, the boot feel way nicer than the grand vitara, but vitara is bigger and more spacious so it depends
