New King Megalodontia aka "Joe" discovered in "old" Random King Rotation Seed 

Disagreed, horrorboros screech is like he’s absolutely in pain yet it feels much more abomination like than zuna

Horrorboros sounds more like that scream that you hear a lot in meme videos. I of course don't know the original source of it, unfortunately. Joey here is just a straight up monster. I actually felt terrified for the first time in a Splatoon game.

Borris sounds like the femur breaker scream and Joe mama sounds like the tom and Jerry scream Zuna sounds like godzilla kinda imo

To me, Boris sounds like a modified chicken scream, I don't know if anyone else hears it

I would call him “Donnie”

I always called Cohozuna "Nickocado" for obvious reasons, and this one i called it "Alberta la hambrienta" (Hungry Alberta) to reference the weird name of Galactus in spanish, Alberto el hambriento. And Horroboros Is just Horroboris

@@dredge-yg9cu Yeah, it seems like it. From what I've gathered in this and other people's vids who played this same job scenario, it's slow to react because it's so huge. It even pauses for a moment to look around before going under and trying again. As Chewoomy said, people just need to keep a cool head when dealing with it, and it should be easy work. But I can see how easy it might be to get overwhelmed with this thing, especially when it'll be people's first time encountering it in Big Run (and taking place in an indoor area like Barnicle & Dime). And I feel it'll definitely not be a fun time during high tide.

Yeah and Joe follows the tagged player until the outer Zone turns green. No need to panic when targeted. To keep things under control and not lure him back and fourth I'd recommend to keep calm and move out of the ring once it turns green. Just move and "lure" more when a bunch of eggs are somewhere else. Very fun King to fight, but easy to tunnelvision or lure criss cross.

Also if other salmonids are in his radius joe will actually kill them, meaning free eggs. If you could, you could probably lure joe into a horde of flyfish to make it easier for you

With this footage it seems that it will DEFINITELY target players

You can see when you are the target. A square with a reticle is on you. You can easy stay in place to not lure him criss cross until the circle turns green and then get out of the attack zone. (Works fine unless you get blocked by something) Or you can try to lure him to a bunch of bosses within the circle to splat them via the attack.

Fr. It's great though Also yeah. I love all the old concepts especially for octo expansion💀. I feel like they probably scrapped some of it (maybe not) to keep it more "kid friendly" lol. Not only the bosses but I mean tartars old design when he was the blender. Also the only statue design was just weird. It was a sanitized human with one side showing the eye, along with organs and muscles. It's weird

It is - if player understand how - but also high risk to lure criss cross due to panic when tagged. Also tunnelvision risky due to the weak spot on the back. It was fun to fight tho. 🙂

You talking about Naval Piranha? That boss actually originated in Yoshi's Island (SNES) before appearing in Woolly World later on.

Megalodontia goes by Joe for the western community due to Twitter translation from the JP Splat account. Joe and Jaw have apparently the same translation but it was Joe instead of Jaw on Twitter.

When Splatoon Japan posted info about Megalodontias, someone translated it and discovered Splatoon Japan called it "Joe" The name has stuck ever since

As I've been told he was in the code but not set to from Season 6 upwards on. Since the Kings apparently got "rolled" new in old random King Rotations after the update he had a chance to be one of them. Feels a bit weird since I thought myself the seed Kings don't change. I assume a certain group of people knew this and went to search him in old Scenarios and shared it.

Leanyoshi posted a graph on twitter with the numbers for all the bosses.

65(0)k is max HP compared to 55(0)k for Horro and 40(0) k to Coho.

Yeah - he seemed to smash a Scrapper during his attacks in another round I've played.

I haven't tried splatbomb to be honest - felt not efficient with Grizzco weapons. "Joe" has more HP than Horroboros who has already more HP than Zuna: Joe 65k Horro 55k Zuna 40k Hitting the weak spot like on Horrorboros will do way more damage than just shooting. Tbh the Grizzco weapons made Joe feel quite easy. I'm excited to fight him on a normal rotation to get a better picture of how difficult he really is.

No hacks or mods are involved here. Apparently "Joe" was in the code left and old random King rotation have been "new diced" so among Cohozuna and Horrorboros - the new King had a chance to appear. I haven't heard of anyone playing the new Salmon Run maps in Private Jobs before they were in the public rotation to get banned. But I understand your concern.

The random kings got "diced" new in the random Rotation seeds with "mega Joe" not excluded - so he could appear too.

Please consider it's with golden weapons and experienced player. 180% is rather low Hazard Level. The first encounter are for sure chaotic until his pattern are figured out.

Joe comes from a Twitter translation from the JP Splat account when it was introduced. Joe and Jaw are apparently the same translation, but Joe was what Twitter "choose". So it's a sort of Twitter western community insider.

@@CheWoomymakes sense. I guess the English version is distorting names again. I think the English version is the only one that doesn’t call inkstrike a tornado. Similar with a lot of other things. Including joe.
