Thank you for the tour. I love how your dishes, bowls and platters are all different. Tables set with mismatching items are just so much more cheery and fun. 💜
I love the fact everything comes from local artisans and stores, and everything has a great story behind it :) It's like every object has a nice memory attached to it :) 😍😍😍
I love your new kitchen and all the pops of color throughout. You guys did such a good job at putting it all together. I love your egg lamp! Thank you for this extra video this week, I know we’re all in need of a little pick me up for 15 min out of our day. Sending so much love to everyone today❤️
There’s nothing more wonderful in a home than a dream kitchen for a space to be creative and serve up day to day meals, big or small. We move a lot and I can’t wait to settle down with some of my favorite things and have the kitchen of my dreams. I’ll definitely be adding some local ceramics to our kitchen before we move from Italy. My mom came for a visit these past two weeks and I took her to Positano. She was so nervous while I drove on the curvy roads, lol. Anyhow, she was blown away by the bright beautiful ceramics and art in the area. I knew it would be a most memorable place to take her. She had a lovely day of shopping and good food. Thanks for sharing your kitchen with us. Happy summer!
Lovely, modern kitchen with a nice array of colorful ceramics. You have a good eye for design, Nicki and are fortunate that Carlo is such a handy guy to help bring your vision to life. Thanks for the enjoyable tour!
Thank you so much for the tour of your charming kitchen. You did a great job selecting the tile for you backsplash. Your kitchen is lovely and so well laid put. I love the colors. Thank you Nicki and Carlo!
Your kitchen turned out so beautifully! I appreciate how you surrounded yourself with quality utilitarian and artful items that evoke a level of sentimentality and comfort. Nicely done! The view from your kitchen window over the sink is priceless!
Everything has a story and that’s the best part of a kitchen in your home! The kitchen isn’t just for cooking, it’s for gathering with your family and friends sharing stories. I love your kitchen!
Nice to be surrounded with things with a story, gifted from those you love and experiences you shared as both a couple and family. Its a warming jolt to the heart when you take something down to use. Thank you for sharing with us a lovely slice of your world.💜
Loved your colourful kitchen assessories and art work ❤️ The breakfast bar is such a good idea!Your dad gives you such thoughtful gifts. The mosaic egg lamp is beautiful.
Beautiful items Nicki. Love the mosaic light. I remember the dishes with the shrimp and lobster from one of your videos. When you asked your Alexa the question, my Alexa Echo answered the question too! Lol! Loved this video! Hugs!❤
Hello Nicky and Carlo!!! What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon….watching you! I love your kitchen!! Funny… you are thousands of miles away… yet when I watch you it feels like you are a short distance. You are like a part of my family! My absolute favorite show! Keep up the good work. We love you here in America!!! Hugs and love. ❤️😘
Its a pleasant kitchen for cooking meals for family and friends. Pretty colors everywhere. But your kitchen window is the best of all. Who needs a dishwasher when you can stand washing dirty dishes looking out at that beautiful view. Along with whoever is helping to dry and put away the clean dishes. And what a great dish drying rack. And Carlo updating everyone the terrible old sharp knives. Your dad is a gem. Thank you.
Just gorgeous, love the variety of items and the memories that go with them! I LOVE your view from your kitchen window into your plush backyard and then down from there! I know those steps you have to travel repeatedly are such a hardship and require strategic planning if you want to bring anything home, but besides that, from where I live and from my views out from home, you are most blessed indeed!
Nicki, I enjoyed your new kitchen tour with the colorful plates, jars, vases, cups, teapots, and artwork. They really go very nicely with your new tiles and painted walls. The knives sharpener-holder is pretty clever, as is the dish-drying rack that closes to take up less space. You did a great job coordinating all of your colors together. You have a lovely place to cook while listening to your music and audio books with the beautiful lamp above as well as the one on your windowsill. Can't wait to see the new stools when they're finally delivered. 🙂Jenny 🙂
A lot of love thought and hard work has been put into your kitchen and it is so lovely. Thank you for sharing all those pieces you have put together. You can now breathe lol well for little while anyway. love to you all x
Your kitchen reflects your personality and your family centers on it because of you. You fill it with love and good food. Indy just doesn’t know why he can’t t dive into your good Mom place. Lol. Carlo is right about those knives. Henkel makes the best and a self sharpening block..wow, super high tech for a butcher block!!👋🏼😊🥰
Lovely Wednesday bonus. Thanks for the kitchen tour. You have so many gorgeous and sentimental things. But all used and enjoyed. Love the open shelves and the mismatched plates. So real and down to earth. Hugs to Holly and Indie and Lilly and LBK. Enjoy your day. 😘
Your new kitchen is so cheerful and the lighting is amazing now with the changes that you and Carlo made. Everything comes together so nicely and your view while at the sink is stunning. Enjoy your new kitchen in good health and happiness ♥️
Beautiful kitchen! Thank you for sharing, Nicki and Carlo! Enjoy many delightful meals and conversations in your new kitchen! Greetings from Philadelphia, PA in the U.S.A.
There's nothing like a well-organized, clean kitchen. The heart of a home, for sure. This is a very lovely, cozy kitchen, Nicki-I love it! I like how everything is not only decorative, but quite functional. Now that is something that I certainly like about your new kitchen. There's an American shop called Marshalls, where I get many of my earthenware bowls, plates and platers. Pretty and very reasonably priced. I rarely use them. I just like how pretty they are. LOL I really need to utilize my nice stuff more. Thanks for this video. I'll be sure to check out your Amazon store. I need a tea kettle!
I’ll say it again…it turned out just amazingly well, especially considering all the challenges!! I love the colors, etc. Appreciate the tour so much. Have a lovely day. 💜🇺🇸
Such lovely sentimental gifts you got in your kitchen, so appreciative of this Wednesday Video thank you Nicki and Carlo, beautiful view from the kitchen window💚🥰
I love your new introduction effects! The art and family/ friend gifted objets that enliven your new kitchen inspire me to find ways to bring more locally created crockery and art into my utilitarian workspace. I noticed you have a minimum of plastic in your kitchen, a preference I share. PS My dear departed cat AJ was the very same as your re. finding and eating anything edible, no matter the location. It was for that reason I could not have breakable things on shelves. I am glad your naughty kitty does not have that problem.
Thank you so much for sharing your home, family, and life. I look forward to each new video. I love Italy so much and when I'm not there I enjoy living vicariously through your videos. It brings me great happiness, so thanks so much! God Bless!
I love your updated kitchen and all of the nice ceramics. It is special that so many of the items were a gift or a reminder of something or someone you love.
Thanks for the tour of your remodeled kitchen - it turned out great. Love the color combinations with all of the various items we keep in the kitchen! Looking forward to Sunday's video. Take care
Amazing that in my country Cyprus we use exactly the same word "bonboniera" for the gift we give in weddings and Christenings. Actually we use a lot of Italian words like "strata" for the road, numero, petto, pezzetta and many more. Love your kitchen Nicki...
Dear Nicki and Carlo. Living in beautiful Pasadena, California and started watching your show about a month ago. Really enjoy it. I have three TV’s and when I’m tinkering at home I put your show on in the kitchen, bedroom and living room and work around the house while you guys keep me company. You are amazing. Thank you!
Love your kitchen! Whenever we go to Italy, I always come home with local pottery for myself & family. Every time I look at them, it brings back great memories
Nicki, when you asked your Echo Dot to convert ounces to grams, mine also responded. Lol!! Gave me a good laugh. Greetings to you guys from Barbados. Not a commenter but always watching - never even heard of Positano before your vids, so thanks for the education.
Your new kitchen is so bright and cheerful. I love all the bright colors. It's nice how everything has a story or some meaning behind it. You guys did such a good job on the renovation. I can't wait to see the new chairs when they come in.
Love it!!!! The stories behind gifts, special purchases are just great!! It is a perfect kitchen...Carlo did a fabulous job, and if Carlo steps in to speak of sharp knives...I totally believe him!!!😁 I would never open the olive oil..lol its so pretty!!! All the containers, live them!! And the view from your kitchen window is the BEST!!! The Rock Tree art is too cool!!! Never seen one, so interesting!! Thanks for sharing!!💫
your kitchen is exactly how i would design my own if i ever have the chance. absolutely perfect. i love the open shelves with the display of cute crockery.
Hi Nicki, love your warm kitchen!! I’m watching your beautiful videos from living very near the Indian Ocean where I have only 20 steps into my little house but when my knee hurts it feels like 500🙂 and I must admit your colourful plates inspired me to the extend that I bought a few ceramica plates made in place close to Positano and available here in Australia and now I enjoy my lunch even more 🙂🌸
Bless your heart ,and the memories . That was so sweet ,and beautiful . Simplicity's sentimental welcome ... Your home is so comfortable I'm Relaxed a couple of thousand miles away ! You both should proud 💑
Nicki Darlin, this was LOVELY ❣️❣️❣️. You’ve done a FABULOUS job with your kitchen!!! I love all the colors you’ve used, especially that soft coral between the shelves. I’m thrilled that you have such an efficient and BEAUTIFUL work space now💛🧡❤️🌟☀️✨💫
Love your new kitchen. Thanks for the tour. But more than the kitchen, I absolutely love the view of your yard from your kitchen window. Hello from a fan in Canada. 🇨🇦 PS we loved our visit to Positano and the Amalfi Coat last summer. 💞 Our second visit in 4 years. Now that we have an Italian daughter-in-law, we are heading back to Italy to visit again this summer. Very excited!
Last year June my husband and I got COVID. We landed in hospital and spent almost a month at home recuperating. Your videos was my live saver. When sickness and death was surrounding me, I took a deck chair and sat in the sun whilst binch watching ALL your videos. The positive, kindness overall ambiance of your videos gave us a way to escape everything around us. You definitely found your purpose in life!
I love your kitchen Nicki. Love all the ceramics especially the olive oil bottles. Am looking forward to shopping for some ceramics when I get back to Italy. All your plants look very healthy too. Thanks for the lovely tour.
Thank you for the tour of your beautiful kitchen! Best of all, it's filled with your favourite items which obviously bring you so much joy and surround you with warm memories. Lovely,.🥰
I see that you have a lovely and light filled new kitchen. It is important to me to spend my money as close to home as possible. I find it keeps a good community. You too-
I spied the History of American Rock and History of British Rock a few years ago when you gave a tour of the house...one was in the bathroom. Had only seen one once before many years ago but recognized it immediately. Now knowing a bit of your Dad's history, its cool they came from him. Nice treasures you've got there!!!
Nicki, I love your new kitchen…it’s so inviting, colors are calming and decorative…so amazing how all the effort of many made such a beautiful place in your home. Happy for you..❤️
Hi Niki and Carlo. I have been watching your program for the last few years every Sunday or the extras on Wednesday. I just wanted to thank you both for sending us videos every week on such interesting topics. I know it takes your time away especially when you would just like to go on vacation and not be bothered with filming. So I want to thank you for that extra step you take for us. Even though there are lots of chateau videos they are not that interesting and you have far surpassed those bringing interesting things to us. Also, you and Carlo are so down-to-earth and enjoyable. I love your dogs and how you take them everywhere with you. So again, thank you for letting me share your life. P.S. Carlo and friends you did a wonderful job on the kitchen as well as you do on and around the house and garden.
The tree of rock! Right up my street! . All the little Knik- Knaks, make a house a home! Lovely Olive oil bottles, really beautiful... Spotted "Captain Fantastic" in it's new location! "Curtains" is a beautiful song.
Thank you for taking the time to show us your charming kitchen. I so much love the happy, bright colors. For the last two years I'd been working on coming out of a 'farmhouse white' era and made the mistake of thinking that "old world" dusty, peeling dark pieces would be a better look. OMG! After 6 months I realized that nicked gold European art and vintage china teacups were not my jam. I was inspired by your boho vibe (which I'm not sure you yourself would call "boho", maybe just classic Italian) and have done another clear out (to my husband's amazement) and am commencing a new era in our household. Colorful and bright, happy and light. It's so much more cheerful. Thanks for your Positano Diaries - it's been such an inspiration and world of calm for me (even though I know you probably work harder than I do any given day). Hugs to you and Carlo. xo karen
It’s got so much personal warmth and affection in the kitchen and home throughout! So much love, human connections, and many memories embedded in most of the kitchen tools and decorations, your home and kitchen are truly your OWN
You will get a giggle out of this ....when you asked Alexa about the 2 oz. my Alexa in my room also responded. I felt like I was in your lovely new kitchen with you ! Enjoy it with all your lovely things.
Love your kithen, so many nice objects put together in a tasteful, cosy way. Great having so many things with nice memories. Love your kitchen. I am Scandinavian and have almost the same IKEA kitchen, wooden bench top and porcelain white sink. Mine is now 8 years, I have never got tired of it! A little advice; my sink's porcelain has got some crackles because I have had too much boiling water all over in it, for several years. Better hitting the drain of steel, and it will last for decades. 😊♥
