Hi guys~!
We finally moved into our new apartment! Some of you asked us to do an apartment tour, so we decided to film a short one for you ^^ We LOVE our new place! Even though it's a one room apartment, it's way more spacious and much more suitable for two people. The area is also much better as well. As you saw in this video, we've decided to choose a question or two to answer at the end of each of our vlogs rather than making one video and flying through all of the questions really quickly. We really like the idea of answering your questions in more detail this way, so let us know what you think of this approach ^^

My son moved from Scotland to Korea to teach English for 12 months, then come back home, that was 3 years ago. After 6 months he met a lovely Korean girl who is now his wife :)

I added the subtitles for German, but somehow I am not mentioned in the description? And on my "your contributions" page isn't even mentioned, that my subtitles got accepted. I just found out accidentally. ;D Just wondering, why it's like that. It never happend before. :)

Hello! First of all, thank you SO very much for contributing German subs! :D It's such a huge help!! For some weird reason, there are instances where someone submits subtitles, but their name doesn't appear in the description. We assumed this was due to some sort of privacy setting on the other person's end (maybe they want to remain anonymous for privacy reasons). Once we accept subs, the person's name is supposed to be credited in the description box. Unless you've got some sort of privacy setting on, I have no clue why this happened o_o We'll add your name in this description for the time being though! Sorry about this weirdness, and again, thank you SO much again for putting in the time and effort to help us out like this!

PeachyGem I don't know where you live, but don't stress. Just remind yourself often what is important in your life, and try to enjoy and cherish what you have. When you focus on and work around those, things will turn out just fine. Also at times we are so narrow minded, we only see what is in front of us. We find out again and again seemingly bad things just turn out fine at the end. :) Happy Wedding!

안녕하세요 형님. 남자팬입니다.!ㅋㅋㅋ 코멘트는 처음이네요. 모든 비디오 재미있게 다 보고 있습니다. 두분 비디오를 어쩌다 보게 되었는데 너무 재미있어서 팬이 되어버렸네요. EBS 방송도 본방 놓치고 며칠 전 유튜브로 보고있었는데 어머니가 지나가시면서 보시더니 아버지랑 이거 본방으로 봤다고 하셔서 신기했어요. 며칠 전 국제결혼에 대한 비디오도 그렇고, 저희 부모님 역시 반대하시는 편이셔서 '혹시나'를 기대하고 설득중이지만 아직까지는 '역시나'네요 ㅎㅎ갈 길이 먼 것 같아요 앞으로의 비디오들도 기대하겠습니다~ (ps 태클은 아니지만, 5분 10초 쯤 자막은 '파기' 보다는 계약기간이 만료되는대로 정도가 더 낫지 않을까 싶어요!)

onecnt 안녕하세요~^^ 우선 저희 영상을 시청해주셔서 감사합니다~!! 네 아무래도 한국은 아무래도 가족적인 사회이다 보니까 부모님의 개입이 조금 더 다른 서양문화권에 비해 있는것 같아요. 그렇지만 모두 다 그런것은 절대 아니고요 아마 오래 연애를 하며 서로 문화를 존중하고 받아들일 준비가 되어있는 배우자분을 부모님께 소개시켜주신다면 아마 생각이 조금씩 바뀌실 수도 있을거에요. 적어도 onecnt 님은 평생 살 사람만큼은 자신이 선택하여 결정하였으면 좋겠어요~ (ps 자막 수정하였습니다~^^ 감사합니다!!)

Could you please talk about the process to become an Engligh teacher. Would it be hard for someone who hasn't been to university, to get a teaching job in Korea? Are they any other job options for foreigners? And lastly, how well can you speak in Korean Sarah? Thanks :)

You absolutely need a university degree to become an English teacher here--they are very strict about that in Korea. Each country's application process is also a bit different, because you need different documents depending on where you live. My Korean ability is actually quite basic, because my full-time job for the last three years has kept me extremely busy, so I didn't have time to study formally at a Korean language school :/

I live in Hawaii Maui it very expensive for two bedrooms apartment we pay around 1900 a month and food expensive and everything else I been here sense 1998 and had by two beautiful daugthers here but I'm just in love with koren culture and I think so beautiful there one day I like visit I love koren drama and kpop

Do you know if there's any chance that a non-native speaker english can go there to teach? Hello! First of all sorry for my English it is not so good.) My question is about religion. I heard that most of Korean people don't have any religion. What religion mostly Korean s have and what they are teaching for their children? What r-n do you have? Is it hard if you are muslim in Korea (to find a mosque)? Enjoy your new apartment!

So you did get to meet a "beautiful Korean man" just like your mom said. Just goes to show, always listen to your mom. :D Just found your videos and subscribed. Yours is the second apartment tour by teachers in Korea that I have watched and like in the other person's apartment I saw no room for books in your apartment. Did I just miss that or are the only books you have e-books? I have about 4,000 books on my Kindle but I have an equal number of dead tree books. I love the fact that I can get e-books instantly and a great many of them are free but sometimes I just want to read an actual book. So, is there space for bookshelves in your apartment?

I can totally relate with your love story although i am not married to a foreigner, but i guess its about when turn things out to be the opposite of what we really wanted. Me too i met my husband on the year that I told myself that I will focus on myself and the things that i wanted for myself. Enjoy your marriage life :) new subscriber here.
