I think that's just all the engine trimmings/bodywork(who knows) vibrating around slightly. Don't think they had hundreds of millions to spend on refinement after buying an f430 and cutting it up to make it into a modern Stratos lol
valvetrains are allowed to be noisy :) I have brand new lightweight lifters/sodium valves, valve seals and a cam in my car and it's still a noisy soab.
Yea there allowed to be noisy, and they are normally better when they are, as you clearly know from experience ha ha! Solenoid builds ftw now tho in this day and age, revs higher, more reliable, and when you hear rattles and scary noises you know its something bad!
The start of modern fuel injection/knock sensing was the best age for engines in my opinion (late 90s). With the exception of direct injection and high performance common rail diesels there hasn't been much improvement since, and styling of most cars has gone down the tubes. I have a built G60 golf and it's an absolute hoot, 9L/100, 200hp/220tq in a 2200lb car that I built in my backyard for a few grand and 20+ year old parts. Mind you I have 8:1 compression and a late 90s engines can milk 10:1 with a big turbo. 300hp/L is not a big deal, or 100whp/L NA with usable power. So why are we still being sold garbage?? actuator valves, such as in the agera R, are the way of the future.
I've always liked the styling of the Lancia's. I'd love to find a decent body and add modern running gear and chassis. I think it would be a blast to drive.
