Thank you so much for doing full swatches! The Layering Lip Bar cream shades supposedly have that MoistureWrap™️ thing that Lip Sleeping Mask has so maybe dry-lipped folks out there can comment if they notice the difference 😀 I just really enjoy how slick and glossy the cream formula feels, and no dry flakies after prolonged wear too. EDIT: grammar
Thank Sue!! Hahahahaha. Actually majority of the colors lean warm to just slightly cool-neutral so it was easy to pull off with warmer toned eye and cheek makeup. A lot of these colors look nice on Asian skintones in general! (Not surprising...)
Hi Betty, some of these brands are sold at different distributors - sometimes multiple stores and places - in different countries (and launch at different dates as well) so I'm not always able to find and link for different viewers in different markets. Where possible for retailers that ship globally (e.g. Colourpop, etc) I can try!
First they brought out the Two Tone Bars... and now there are Six Tone ones??? What do you think of the new millefeuille-like LANEIGE Layering Lip Bar lipsticks that look more like rainbow dessert than makeup?
@@luchen9640 Hi Lu, LANEIGE is stocked online on Sephora in the US, but the Layering Lip Bars are probably not launched yet. (They're only launching next week in many parts of Asia as well.) I believe US Sephora currently has only the original Two Tone Lip Bars if you want to try out these gradient bars though!
Beautiful swatches! How did u find their mattes? I’m surprised to find myself gravitating towards the mattes. Usually I shun mattes cos I do not like to have a “raisin” looks on my 💋 lol
They're kind of what I'd call "soft touch" mattes, a bit like Shu Uemura's matte lipsticks. Very light-weight and thin in texture, not the heavy thick-feeling type. Of course they are not very hydrating compared to the creams. If you are not sure about the matte feel I would start by testing the Two Tone Matte bar formula first, cos those are slightly creamier than these. But they also look less matte and are not as pigmented. P.S. I don't find these to make me "wrinkly". I hate that too!!
I think you need to be consistent when doing Swatches on your lips If u Sweep your bottom lips 2 Times Do it the SameSweep for you Top Lips U mostly sweep 2 times to bottom and 2-4 times on top Its a Gradiation Lip Bar so its the best to be consistent with the 'Sweeps' to show us the Colors correctly
Hi Mao, thanks for the feedback! Will take care in future! I actually wasn't too concerned showing coverage as the pigmentation level of this whole line is pretty good. I was more worried about trying to get the gradient to apply properly cos my top lip is quite small compared to the bottom. So I went back and forth more times than usual just to make sure there was a chance for all 6 colors on the slant to appear on the lip and for the top edges to not look messy! But thank you so much for watching and sharing feedback!
