I have one the earlier version. I have never had a problem with updates over the years. Not fancy but it also isn't so costly you have treat it like a virgin unicorn Glad you're back

I have a 123E great tool well made, free updates got it for about £138 with a discount, works well, no buttons all touch screen. You can drag the back button to anywhere on the screen an still have the top one meaning you end up with two back buttons.
I have this scan tool and find I don’t get all the error codes from my 2005 X5 BMW. Will the paid software upgrade from the “Mall” function allow for additional features? Or is this the paid version of what comes with the scan tool?
That thing is amazing...one of the best scanners ive been sent...whoever didnt buy with the discount they gave me for less than 130 shipped...they missed out, i use it almost ever day at the dealer ship 🤯
Awesome video brother. Welcome back. Now i surely could use one of those scanners that would surely come in handy. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope all is well. Have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT
Great vid, i dont wanna seem a bit paranoid but buying the upgrades is there a chance it could be bullshit code to make money where no fault was there, or am i overthinking it
Welcome back! And thanks for the review and recommendation of the scanner. I've been looking for one in the sub $200 range. So many scanners out there and hard to decide on one. This just might be it. :)
Damn. I need to get me one of these. I got an INNOVA 3100LaT. Its a great lil scanner and i got it DIRT DAMN CHEAP, (it was literally $28 new in the box) but this would be nice as it does a whole lot more. I’ll see about possibly getting one in a few weeks when the wife and i get back from Va. I’d happily give my 3100 to a subscriber of your choosing. It’s still pretty new. I’ve used it ones or twice.
CP i got the older version of this from the used drawer from my Matco guy for $50 and literally for my dumb ass, is the easiest most effective entry level scanner for the money hands down. Great vid! Launch seems to make a pretty good product
Hello Fellow Toolhaulics, Friends, And Supporters of the World Renowned CP THE TOOL ADDICT 🔧 And Henry: Welcome back Chad. I personally missed your honest narration & expert opinions on tools & equipment. Thank you for this video as this type of scanner is not your shade tree mechanic version, we'll done sir. If we don't get a chance to see you until after the July 4th holiday, Gid Bless to you & my best to Henry. TMP from N.J. 🙏.
Nice unit? Better than the Actron orange brick I own? Mine is at least 10 years old, and cost like $130? I bet that doesn't cost much more? They have come a long way, in a short amount of time with DIY and Pro scanners? I would hate to spend $350 -$500, just to fix my own car, then not really need it? I would really like one with bi-directional controls, but $350 is not that much, but when you spend literally 20-30 hours messing around, not getting anywhere? You know what I mean? If it reads live data like mine, and has more PIDs, fuel pressure and timing, would probably be all I needed extra? Thanks CP, for looking out for us non-professional mechanics no longer? I still have the antique OTC OBD1 systems? Nobody needs them anymore, right?
But you were just saying on another one of your videos not to waste your money on updates. you said to just replace the tool every 2 years So you probably want to make sure before buy a scanner it does every thing you need ir to do
Trying to be logical for everyone is sometimes a little controversial as I said in my other videos thats my personal philosophy however some people want a tool with lifetime updates or cheap updates it depends on what you are doing every situation is subject to each owns personal preference thats why they're are Multiple options. Hope that clarification is helpful.
Repent to Jesus Christ! Are you a sinner? Mark 2:17 King James Version 17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
