As someone who loved the complete saga, this game is truly a masterpiece, with such a good sense at humour and a accurate and unique designs, and the fact that a lot of cutscenes has a meme potential, make the skywalker saga even funnier and hilarious and better
Qui-gon and Obi-wan: *Aggressively destroying everything they can find with their lightsabers* Meanwhile, in the next room: - What? What did you say?" - The ambassadors are Jedi Knights, I believe
6:25 I like to think that Jar Jar was the first NPC they gave invincibility before moving onto the others, like they knew players were going to try and kill him so they made absolutely sure we couldn’t. 😂
The fact that the features of this game like the mumble mode, proofs how the lego did a great and carefull job, which is really cool and give me a hope for more unique lego games
@@Epicfellsans i used the wrong card for it that’s why. I did the same thing with Squadrons lol. I played episode 1 up till the big fish chases Qui-Gon. It’s super clean the videos don’t even do it justice it feels so good when you play
I'm pretty sure the developers saw a lot of memes and decided to put them in the game because its glorious. Palps is obsessed about naming himself "The Senate". There's a droid that talks about a Tusken Raider village that has not only men, but the the women and the children too. Padme asks Anakin if his nightmares had sand in it
I know right !!!! I’ve just recently heard that this game was coming out and lego Star Wars was the first video game I’ve ever played. I CANNOT WAIT till tomorrow
as much as im loving this game so far, the main levels do feel extremely short, it feels like they wanted people to explore and do the side content over the main levels
Haven't played it, but I guess that makes sense since there are more levels overall. Also sounds like they're trying to embrace a more modern "open world" style.
3:00 Lego Qui gon is awesome. I love all his animations 3:30 He did leave us too soon. I hope Qui gon gets some more screen time in Kenobi series. Liam Neeson wants it, we want it. COME ON!!😭😭
I remember playing the complete saga as a child, and to have this come out now is perfect, I've recently gone through the passing of 2 family members which were really close to me, and of I'm being honest, this is kinda the boost i needed, imma be locking myself in my room like i did in 2007 - 2008 with a jug of water and lots of sugar and quite literally enjoying life. One more thing, Thank you Andrew for cheering me up with your vids, it makes a lot of our days even if you don't realise it. Peace out!✌
This is exactly what I wanted, from the trailers, the realism of the landscapes just alienated me, as it is a Lego game, not this ultra-realistic mess. I liked the style of Lego Worlds where everything was lego.
My only gripe is that sometimes the humour is too overdone in main cutscenes like how maul doesn’t die and keeps coming back, noticed how the characters don’t die in cutscenes even if they have their entire body cut apart
Anikan chops up the tuskans raiders and they just stumble out the tent and put themselves together all fine, as great as the voices are I think I’ll try mumble mode first
I’m not kidding when I say that I will watch you make a full play through of just 100% the game. I think you are one of the more entertaining RU-vidrs and love every single video you put out!
this game is so brilliant - the visuals, the missions, the characters, eras, everything - it's incredible. the only gripe i could possibly have is how dull the co-op mode can get if youre not the main character, but other than that it's great.
it is strange to hear Qui-Gon with Admiral Yularen's voice, but real nice to hear a lot of the voice actors from the Clone Wars series doing their original character voices, or another character's voice as well
Otoh Gunga was made as a level in old Star Wars the phantom menace game from 1999. There you played as Obi-Wan, while Qui-gon was with Boss Nass, and you went through the city, to rescue Jar Jar from prison and escorted him to Bongo
Glad to see someone else knows, the level here seems Directly inspired by the level, even down to the map designs and elevations, its like that Level is finally HD 😂 Great level!
I probably won’t use mumble mode since they got a lot of Clone Wars actors for the prequels, but I still love this game’s sense of humor. It’s a return to a better time when Star Wars wasn’t corrupted by Disney and EA
They should have done more research of Kenobi's stance in Lego Phantom Menace. Kenobi was trained in the form 4 Ataru stance until the death of Qui-Gon. That is clearly visible at their first encounter of Maul opening scene when they ignite their sabers but only SW fans notice that flaw in the game
Two things: 1. It’s a kids game, do you think they care? 2. Episode 1 Obi Wan is a skin for Obi wan, so in order to give him a completely unique fighting stance, they would need to make episode 1 Obi Wan a separate character from episode 2 and episode 3 Obi wan (which wouldn’t work)
Pre ordered it a few weeks ago, but I fear that I will have to wait a bit longer to play it since my laptop is too bad and likely can run it at no more than 5 fps 😕 To everyone else: have fun!
One of the things I like about this Lego game is how they changed the health system from hearts to a health bar and that combat is no longer just smashing a single button there are now combos!!! It’s amazing how much it has evolved since the very first game!!!!!
I only just realized the cultural significance of Oota Gunga. Like, imagine a society, where everyone lived in glass houses? Where your private behavior and public behavior were one and the same - it's such a tribal idea, but executed with high technology.
I don't get my preorder until tomorrow how did you get it early 😭 And yes. Otah Gunga was created in a video game. It appears in the Phantom Menace tie in.
The underwater Gungan city was a level in the Star Wars Episode I game for the original PlayStation. However, like just about every other level in that game, it was impossibly frustrating to complete!
I'd like to ask if the first level of ROTS in TCS, the Battle of Coruscant, is in the game, because I've read somewhere that they decided to not include it? I hope it's in the game, it was one of my favorites at the time of the first Lego Star Wars.
The space battle above Coruscant is just a cutscene. The first level begins after Anakin and Obi-Wan crash-land and wipe out the battle droids inside the hangar of the Invisible Hand.
When I was waiting for it it was 9:00. Then it said 10:00 and then it was 11:00 and I finally got to play the game. The most exciting thing ever. Best weight for 2 years of my life
If you play on Xbox and don’t live in the right time zone to play it, if you set your location to New Zealand you can actually play the game early. It’s pretty fun so far for me.
Hello, how are you? Yes there was a Gungan city level in Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace game from 1999, but i'm not sure wether or not it has been in other Star Wars games.
if you have the Mandalorian character pack DLC you should try doing this in the hub world: select one of the characters as Mando. Doing this, Grogu will automatically spawn. then switch Grogu with another Mando. Another Grogu will spawn because of this. Repeat this cycle again and again and you get an army of Mandalorians following you.
"Spend the entire day in the phantom menace" I got home, turned it on for the first time, played phantom menace until I had to go to bed. Looks like I'll be playing one movie a day
Something I absolutely love about this game, it doesn’t matter if you’re an adult because the joy of all the references and jokes, and just the fact that this game is a thing brings the kid inside back out
A good bunch of people are already playing on consoles because the post service screwed up, meanwhile on steam it releases almost a full day later than the other platforms and you can't even preload it? Just unlock it for everyone at this point.
