Excellent review of a tv from LG you don't see anyone else review, at least I havent anyway. The QNED86 look's to be solidly built and the PQ look's to be damn good Spawn. It's a tv I would consider no questions asked if I didn't already own my excellent LG C1. Again excellent review Spawn and I signed up for your email updates. You rock buddy.

Awesome review mate. How does this one compare to the QNED81? I currently have a C9 OLED but my lounge is quite bright with a few windows so going to try a mini led for the brightness gains!

This is far better than the QNED81, but quite some margin. The price isn't massively different but this is a step up. The C9 is better overall but this is brighter.

Also one feedback for future videos is if u can also share ur TV picture and sound settings for LG tvs. Most tech reviews I've seen was always yammering about OLED and picture quality but I like this channel since u focus more on the gaming side and how it looks. No matter how much a consumer pays for a tv, how many specs is on the tv, the bottom line is how it looks IRL specially for gamers. Now I'm deeply concerned on longevity, exhaust or heat, dust and stress test like off and on. Tv safety and maintenance....cuz I game a lot and watch movies a lot and it's hot in our country like 36-40 Celsius + climate change. Keep up the good work and keep us posted in gaming and TV

Great Video as always! The newsletter is a very cool idea, I will definitely sign up for it! About the TV: it still baffles me that we don’t get HDMI 2.1 on all ports…. my 2021 LG C1 already had 4x HDMI 2.1 and I can’t go back due to the fact that I use three devices that benefit from the full 2.1 bandwidth.

Would you recommend this over LG oled? I know OLED is better when it comes to inky colours, lifelike shadows/colours & Input Lag but for over £2000+ price difference is it worth it? Is their anything that can be done from out of the box settings to get it close to OLED picture results when it comes to colours as well as blacks?

If your alright with 42 inches highly reccomend the c3 oled 42 inch version, at the beginning of the year they always go on sale for half off and you can probably find one for 900 bucks

Good question! Review units get sent back after a few weeks. But some are bought/gifted and I either use them in another room or sell them. Most are loaned though.
