Welcome to a brand new modded SMP, New Life! This series sees us spawn into a brand new world, where we are given a random origin out of over 100 different ones! Everytime we die we randomly get given a brand new Origin which changes how we play! And after we lose 6 lives, we are out the series, forever!

New life, which is part of the One Life, X Life, and Afterlife family of series. Not to be confused with the Third Life, Last Life, Double Life, and Limited Life series. It's totally not confusing at all. In all seriousness, I love these series, and its been way too long since we had a real modded series! Very excited!

Ikr! I was actually kind of surprised to see Scar, but he’s such a joy to watch and his interactions are always interesting- let’s hope his Life Series instincts don’t kick in when he’s on his final life and he doesn’t act like a red name 😂

Fun fact about the Farmer's Delight mod, if you put logs on the cutting board and then right click it with an axe you can strip the log and get bark as well. You can use the bark to make paper. You can also use the knife to break grass for a chance to get straw, which you can use to make things like rope and cloth for making books (instead of leather), tatami mats/blocks, and I think a few other things.

I am so excited for this series!! :) To answer some questions because I play often with a lot of these mods: 1. That hole with cobble and spider webs is a dungeon. I don't know the official name but I just call it a spider hole because it's a hole... full of spiders. There is some wool in there, but IMO unless you have a bauble or other modded thing that will give you poison immunity, it's not worth it. 2. Yes, the zinc is the main ore used for the Create mod! It's used for most of the basic components of Create as well as used as a base to create other ores to be used for the mod :) If you want to explore automation or farms, I absolutely recommend playing with Create. Or... it's also fun for deco. You can make real moving windmills, elevators, and more as its main function (besides farms!) is to create motion in Minecraft ^^ 3. Scoria, limestone, and viridium are also from Create. As far as I can tell, it's just a deco block... But I'm also not the most advanced Create user in the world :D

@@dleonidae i looked it up and viridium will gives you copper. asurine gives zinc, crimsite gives iron, and ochrum gives gold. viridium has the highest chance at 80%, while crimsite has 40%, asurine 30, and ochrum is a 20%. this is interesting. i never knew this! ill have to keep it in mind for easy zinc and copper :D

I don’t know about the afterlife origins, but I do know that with this series there are a few custom origins so even you found the mod you wouldn’t be able to get EVERY origin that you see.

Hey Scott, for a future build, I think it would be very cute if you made a structure that you could house your waypoint in. Like a kind of gazebo type thing. Or maybe a tall tower of some kind. The starter house looks awesome and am looking forward to what you do next :D

Not sure if you know this yet but you can place a stick in your tomatoes and stake them so they grow taller. I love doing that because it adds height and dimension to my lil garden

Pro tip: if you have blocks or items and you're unsure what to do with them, you can press the "R" key to see the recipes that make them and "U" to see the recipes they're used it. A helpful feature of the JEI mod. Wrote this because you said you didn't know what some blocks you picked up were.

The specialty Create blocks (like Viridium/Scoria) are mostly decorative but you can use the Create ore processing mechanics to break them down into metals too. If I remember right, Viridium crushes down to copper nuggets for example.

Scotty hotty you need to use the Create mod , its soo much fun and can be a little OP. also you can go a Steam punk vibe with Create , grinded in crushing wheels Veridium =copper , Crimsite= iron, Asurine= zinc, Ochrum=gold ore
