Love the art deco (or perhaps nouveau) wall light ❤. And what you did with the table matches it better with the light. Glad Henry is feeling better, he was so cute reacting to the squirrel.
He is funny the way he looks like he's waving, I think in his head he's being tough and threatening! The table is looking better now, I've added more colour to it so it's not quite as messy looking!

@@justplainsadieDoing okay thank you. Keeping busy with painting our main floor and kitchen cabinets, went from very dark to very light so it feels brighter in here during our very dull gray days. Picking up our new puppy in March, and that excitement is what’s most on my mind:) Congrats on the channel growth, keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working! (You have a very soothing voice to listen to).

That's such a beautiful wall light....it suits your house so well, just stunning. It definitely has that 1940s (?) theatre feeling...I have no clue of the exact era but I know what I'm thinking of 🤣. So glad Henry cat is back on form...that must have been very worrying. Gorgeous flowers....I love that you dress the house that way each week. xo
Had my eye on that light since I came out! I walked around the house trying to work out where it could go, so was delighted when we started redecorating. Instead of Valentine's gifts to each other this year, we bought this as a Valentine to us all and the house! Henry Cat is totally back to normal now, being annoying and greedy.Rather have that than the subdued and not interested in food or trouble version. When I do the weekly shop I have a budget within it for flowers. The house doesn't feel right without vases of flowers or foliage. xx

The hallway looks stunning and I love the new light above the table - they really are a beautiful match. Parveen, it is you! I wasn't totally sure but I wondered, so pleased to see you here. Hope life is being kind to you. Right now Bill and Violet are away - due back later today - so I've had a quiet weekend. Yes, A levels this year. She's been applying to uni's and has 4 offers so far. Lots of changes ahead, but all good. Totally agree, waxing is hard work but really worth it. I've been able to spend time finishing off the posts and handrail of the stairs, and while far from perfect, I'm so pleased with how it has turned out! x
Bless you and yes it is me! Life is much more on an even keel here, we are enjoying living in a more rural area. I can't believe Violet will be looking at starting uni in September and well done her for getting so many offers. It was such a stressful time with A levels in our household and such a relef when it was all over. I love seeing how you are changing the house and how you are happy to roll up your sleeves and tackle jobs yourself. We are slowly ploughing ahead with jobs. We struggled with getting trades people in at first but this has been a real blessing as it has given us time to really conisder what we really want/need - very different to what we were going for initially, but much more 'us'. Your hallway makeover is brilliant as inspiration for when we get around to tackling that job. Enjoy having Bill and Violet back home. Pxx
