Getting marner or something would be great. But that extra year you would assure you would love pelika or kyrou after the season. I think that’s a next year trade. Think the logical thing is get a bonafide guy to replace pelika if someone is as good as him or even better. He’s on a 1 year deal anyway and trying to negotiate a contract can’t be terrible when he’s asking for 19 million anyways! Guy was talking to conor brown wanting 19 mil lol

I would want to keep ASP for sure, he's definitely worth it. Worst case get him for a year after the draft and negociate next season. I would also go for Marner

Don't touch the Defence! I would keep the 2nd & 3rd line together. Shift Kyrou tho the 4th line, and pick up a top tier playmaker 90+. MCDAVID or Eichel ! those are the only guys worth it!! or just bring in a ELITE goalie for this season :)

Your forward core is already insane, and Kyrou is still producing pretty well. Sure, you could spend a ton to get Eichel or Marner, but are they really going to produce more then Kyrou? I doubt it. If you really want to do a big trade, I'd try move Pellika for someone cheaper, maybe get assets as well. Its sucks because he's been really good, but you can't afford to pay him 13m. If that doesn't work, just stand pat.

Why go for marner when McNuggets is availeball. Way lower value and simply better. The money is more but it doesn’t matter. U could really see marner doing the same as kyrou but mcdavid is going to produce more. D’ont over think it and go fore the better player. As for pelika look for a similar player that is cheaper. Waiting could cause isues. It is also realistic to go for mc cause he is old and wants to get out of that cold weather.

Trade for Nylander…he’s 35 but low cost and good in the playoffs
