I’m so glad I’ve finally found someone on RU-vid with a similar loc count as me. I have 56 locs and I started them on February 5th with two strand twists
When you said you're tryna get you parts exactly how you want them, I can relate. The parts on my first set were horrible I had them for 7/8 months. I had no idea, till the 4th month when I put in extensions that, I only had 4 locs in the bottom half of my head and 45 everywhere else🤣🤣🤣 I wanted a middle part as well but the loctician decided to put one loc in the middle of that part. I combed them out. For my second set I did a lot of research and opted for the c-part locs with a middle part. It took me a whole month to part my shrunken uncombed hair. Saloons were closed due to covid and at that point I was determined to part it myself. I couldn't let someone part it and pretend to like it... lol. I'm 10 months in and I now believe people when they say trust the process. I loooooovey hair. Can't wait to keep up with your journey.
I’m so happy you were okay with starting over!! I can’t wait to be 10 months in like you and love my hair 😊 right now I’m hating that i had to start over but just tryna manage these first 3 months!
@@jordoesitall8211 I won't lie it will be rough cause you'll find yourself imagining how long it could've been if you were happy with the 1st set. but once you get past the threshold and the 2nd set is older than the 1st one you will fall in love more and more each passing day.
It really is a commitment cause you can’t just take them down when you get tired of them! You either comb them out or shave them off so keep thinking it over 💕
Yeah I’m an interlocker with micro locs, I just twists my hair and put the crochet needle between my four locs not through the roots of the locs if that makes any sense
Thank you so much 🥰 and it’s not quite a middle part because of one loc that is directly in the middle of my head but it just isn’t a crisp line if that makes sense. And the side part is more like a deep side part that curves
Thank you! And i didn’t even think about watching a loc vid while retwisting. I be taking a long time so i watch something that can play itself once i finish an episode lol
Thank you so much 🥰 and yes! My locs are only about a month old in this vid so you def could! I’d wait until at least 2 weeks so you don’t mess up the texture of your locs but this did zero damage so you should be fine!
