@@JoeOrber yeah exactly. The shortcuts which appear while editing are really helpful. Honestly I don't know the keyboard shortcuts for many actions, only because they appear on the touchbar
Touchbar, is not gimmicky, It saves soooo much time. I honestly don't want to upgrade because of them getting rid of it. Its also so easy to just swap to the F keys. I honestly just cry every time I see the laptops without it.
8k 120 video editing is just around the corner. Most people who are buying these expect these to last till 2027-33. By then they’ll probably be 16k 240 video editing.
I have over 60 tabs opening on two different browsers, I do marketing and web design on one screen then Im running a software called thinkorswim and trading view on the other screen because Im a Forex and futures trader. I have the custom M2 Max, with 2TB SSD, 96GB of RAM. After having multiple performance issues on my 2017 intel Mac, I switched to the M1 Max chip MacBook it did its job but, then I heard they’re releasing a more powerful version of the MacBook Pro so I switched out to that and now have more power haha.
People are so ungrateful and I’m shut of words. The same people will complain that apple doesn’t put much ram in the iPhone, now that you have 96 in MacBook, it’s also a problem
@@DEADLYBEAST12e4 here’s why: macOS is enjoyed by creators because compared to windows the issues are more consistent (on my gaming PC things are sporadic, yesterday all my Xbox games just disappeared for 4 hours. Whereas in mac land the issues are consistent like having to install a 3rd party app for window snapping) And the touchbar brought those sporadic issues to mac, sometimes it would just stop working in the middle of an important edit and I can’t change volume or brightness easily
Ngl the notch really makes a difference. Like at least i know im using a new device, not from some boring ass Macboom design from, like, 2015 or whatever
@@ezronthelegend why because the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2's Adreno 740 GPU delivers around 10% better performance and circa 15% better efficiency than the A16 Bionic's GPU. and the one in the s23 has been overclocked.
Dynamic Island is only on the phones for multitasking features, which the Mac has already had from the beginning, so it wouldn't have served much purpose. You're right though, it would have been pretty cool.
It is the BEST laptop now with game mode macOS is going to be great and for anyone who has doubts well stop looking at reviewers like MKBHD, and start doing your own research
Literally incorrect. It’s the same or better in almost every way except the ssd. First of all the ssd is still as fast as most premium windows laptops, and secondly on the 512gb models that this effects you’re more restricted by the size of the file than the speed of the drive
It was. There were too many glitches and it provided the same functionality as the function row but far more complicated. It's cool from a visual standpoint but it sucks from a functionality one.
Bezels are not that thin tnh and that notch. Definitely the most bizarre design choice I have ever seen. But then again apple sheep heavily invested financially and mentally will not dare to complain.
The notch doesn't negatively impact anything though? The screen next to it is completely new real estate. The notch isn't cutting into anything that was there previously. Also, they needed some way to house the webcam.
But can it run any actual GPU heavy program? Nope, I've tried it. No blender, no deep learning ai, no Sony Vegas, no games. You just buy it for flex. I am never buying apple product again.
@@giggitygigs I would love to give you a useful answer to that but I honestly don't know. I saw a video where the 16 inch m2 max was being compared to a bigger windows laptop with a ton of rgb lighting and that laptop had twice the performance in almost every category. I would love to tell you what the most powerful laptop in the world is but I honestly don't know. I just know from demonstration on RU-vid that there is a laptop twice as fast as m2 max and I can only guess that there may be a laptop even faster than that.
@@DavidLinn Of course if all you want is "performance" there are tons of gaming laptops out there, but when it comes to having the best mix of battery life, power, webcam, display, connectivity, weight e.t.c it is one of, if not the best
