L update, because I'm a permafreshie who hasn't even touched maestro yet so this makes the learning curve even worse for me. Go ahead and say "skill issue".
Ain't no way we got a maestro rework before the kaido rework. I know it's harder to rework kaido, but still bc kaido has been a problem since the start of the game 😭
I saw someone on discord complain how they spent all day making the "maestro toucher v4" and then they made this change so you couldn't cheese him and he was really pissed
It's genuinely funny how the hardest boss in the game is the one people have managed to make stupid easy due to how it works. Duke, the only boss that's similar to Maestro, usually has a ton of RNG due to his wind shield Chaser is also very random due to the blood jars needed to get him down Primadon requires you to approach him while he randomly throws rocks at you Ethiron is such a pain in the ass to even reach you won't even bother with a macro at that point, and if you do, bone placements are weird. Kaido is just weird but its so weird it can't be macroed. TL;DR Maestro being a test of skill instead of an endurance test like Duke, Kaido and Primadon or a test of patience like Chaser and Ethiron ends up harming the fight itself due to macros always being possible. It isn't RNG, thus, can be manipulated.
All boss fights in deep arent tests of skills except maestro where you need to know the games mechanics (parryind and dodging) to beat them like every other game in existence. All boss fights are just stat checks in this game even duke whose hardest part is the parry shield is just wait for strong left and then m1 parry repeat you can also literally heal during the ferryman fight
a better solution would have been giving him absurdly high elemental recistance so people cant just make builds to cheese him with mantras, tho it wont be much of a prolem for people who just farm it normally, personally i just go in with prov thorns pale briar, takes around a minute to kill him with that lol
I was tryna do a chain of perfection run before update drop. The previous on I got hit by one slash of crit so I try again, but then maestro stops dropping chests for 5 mins💀 Then I come back to seeing him teleport vent away from me mid crit😭

why don't they just make it so that you spawn in a random location when you start the fight and when you return, then it will be near impossible to macro
You realize his inventory’s would go full in like 1 hrs from taking like the top 2 things so he is obviously exploiting so cheese patch won’t matter for hom
IMO they shouldn't have made maestro drop 90% of rare items the game has. Maestro is just all of diluvians and hellmode's loot pool all put into one npc
@@AshAethuda Random spots at the inn, how tf would you do anything about that, considering everything that could happen in the way and How easier It would be to gank the macros
