The smaller bottle is actually larger than I thought as well, great to see the side by side comparison. The sideways label is a bit odd, I don't mind the smaller size bottle shape (it is actually quite pretty) but wish they could have made an upright label. Great review.
@@tacit7622 I bought Baccarat Rouge 540, the exact one you reviewed! I personally prefer the extrait more but my husband likes the parfum on me better.
Hi there, I just found your channel and was happy to subscribe. MFK is definitely one of the best perfume houses at the moment - very high-quality and quite unusual fragrances. He said recently in a q&a with The Perfume Society here in the UK that a new perfume is due to be released in September. Can’t wait to see what he has created!
This was very helpful for me because I am getting the 1.2 oz. for Christmas. I can't wait to try it. I have only sprayed it on a card and that was several months ago so I really don't recall what it was like. I'm glad I found your channel. I'll let you know what I think of it.
Hello..thank you for the video but just asking if the 35ml perfume is less concentrated to the 50ml bottle..just confirming before buying..and also the colour of the 35ml juice is lighter than the 50ml..
I bought my 35ml BR540 several years ago directly from MFK website for $125… the bottle is almost empty in March of 2024 so I went to MFK website (expecting the same price) BUT TO MY SURPRISE it was $205… Inflation I suppose… Anyway a tip for anyone buying anything from MFK… They have a really good deal (which is what I did) I knew I was going to buy a small bottle of 540, but I was also curious about other fragrances of theirs… So I bought 8 samples @$14 each total of $112 and I then had $112 plus tax credit towards ANY PURCHASE.. which I then used to purchase my 35ml of BR540 for my credit +around $13ish And I was very happy. Because I got 8 samples & my 35ml bottle of BR540 for the same price as if I would have purchased BR540 alone but with way more samples
Can you refill this 35ml bottle? I have the 200ml one and wondering if you can refill from the 200ml one to the 35ml being more travel friendly. I don’t like the 11ml ones
Half the perfume it should be half the price really annoying they tack on £20. Should be £100 not £120. But after that complaint I got one anyone, because I love the scent lol 😝 😂
@@polochinchinlin9111 They do if you buy the sample kit for $14, you can deduct it from your next purchase. But everything is more expensive (by the ounce) when you buy a smaller size. That's why the big ones are called "value size".
@@SisterFromAnotherPlanet mmm with reason ... I had only bought the regular 2.4 Oz and they only sent papers in the envelope, I assumed a discount code would come ...
@@polochinchinlin9111 Oh I see what you're saying. It's not a sample size though. Frankly, I did better with codes and a sale at Bloomingdales--almost half off the 200ml size. Keep an eye on the department store sales. Also, I could've sworn they offer 10% off your first purchase if you sign up on the email list
I doubt it's anywhere near as popular as you think it is, most likely Baader-Meinhof complex. You know like for example you just bought a red Honda Accord and all of a sudden you notice red Honda Accords everywhere? But in this case if you're deep into the online fragrance community or research BR540 a lot it's going to seem like everyone and their mom had/has it. When in reality most people still don't wear fragrance and you can bet top dollar that only a fraction of people that do are willing to spend $180-800 (CAD) for a single fragrance. Going to depend heavily on where you live as well, I for one can't recall smelling BR540 on someone else.. ever Just my thoughts 🤷🏽♂️
