All the channels I love have reduced output to increase quality. (ie prioritising the content creators own creative fulfilment, self care and work/life balance, health needs etc, their satisfaction in the research and production quality of their work etc) I hang out for those once a fortnight or once a month videos and really enjoy them. Do what you need to do.

The baked formulas start out as a liquid, then baked for 24 hours. Italy does a lot of baked formulas. I look forward to seeing what you've been working on during your time away. As an Artist myself, its really hard to carve out time to create my own art with a full time job. And rarely, even the best Artists I know are able to make a living creating the art they want to create. It's a tough world out there!

I personally don't think people understand how demanding being on RU-vid or social media would be. I could NEVERRRRRRRRRR. I don't have to stamina, I need down time. We will be sad not to see you for a month, but I always enjoy re-watching past favourite videos anyway :) One suggestion I had for a video was looking at Korean style makeup. I love how your style is more about subtly, and about enhancing your individual beauty, which is (I think) what a lot of Korean makeup is all about. I love how they apply makeup very gradually but the end result is stunning. I feel like you'd be good at recreating this kind of style. Also, I don't see many Korean style makeup on non Asian faces. I dunno, just a suggestion!

I’ve Hazel eyes too. What i do is watch which of her videos make her eyes pop the most… and i recreate/adapt them to my eyes. In no particular order: Deep purple, navy eyeliner and a pop of grey/taupe, as well as more terracotta/apricot tones (usually recommended for blue eyes) seem to really work too.

I'm not a makeup wearing person as a rule, and as a middle-aged scientist (with crepey skin and bags under my eyes) I'm luckily not in a job that would require it. When I wear anything to work I want it to look as if I wasnt wearing anything. But I like to be playful - and for some reason i don't quite understand I really love your channel and sometimes try out some of your techniques. So - thanks! You're smart and thoughtful and opinionated, which is all things I enjoy. Take the time you need and I hope all turns out well fror you.

That One Size setting mist is an absolute must for me. I live in southern AZ where we typically start reaching 100* in May, and stay that way through September, and it's only a "dry heat" until monsoons roll in, but you start sweating from the heat in April and stay that way through November. That setting spray is the only one that really keeps my makeup in place as I walk in and out of the heat and humidity, and even through misters on restaurant patios. (I also have oily skin, which typically makes my makeup fall apart, but not after spraying it with this!)

Imma be honest, I'll be a little sad during June without you because I already rewatch a lot of your videos and like a new one in the mix. That being said, take all the time you need because I love your long videos and kind of just vibe out which won't still be happening if you burn out. If you do more beginner makeup videos honestly keep them short like your other ones. I realized as I was helping a friend who was very much a beginner that having something more concise is better for explaining concepts than a longer one filled with a lot of "fluff" and opinions. That "fluff" is what makes them entertaining for someone like me who regularly watches, but if it's aimed at beginners it's probably people not only new to makeup, but your channel as well. You could do one long beginner's guide video that's cut into chapters or specific videos like your "dude" series. As for things I want to see, I love your colorful eyeshadow videos like that Beyonce recreation. I realized as I was watching other creators that I come here specifically for inspiration in those looks because crazily enough, it's much easier for me to recreate the more creative eye looks than neutrals because one is very dependent on my specific features while the other is easier to adapt to my features. So more things like the butterfly look, that one you did with the elf pallette, the Beyonce recreation I love because I've actually been able to achieve them, wear them out, and love the way I look and feel all day.

I set my under eyes with O/S spray. I spray it on a concealer brush and pat it over my cream concealer. Sets great!

You're right - the Nars blush has "too much" pearl - for my skin at least. It magnified all of my texture, and I don't have that much.

I'd love to see some looks for glasses wearers if you're open? Particularly for those with hooded eyes who like to experiment with graphic liners and colours. If it matters, I have a deep skin tone. I am looking forward to your beginner videos. I’m 64 and have issues with blending out freckling patches. Your ability to get that flawless natural skin look with your makeup is amazing. During Covid I didn’t wear much makeup due to the mask. Getting back into makeup now, I realize I really want to update and freshen my makeup. A video for older beginners would be wonderful. Something focusing on blending out heavily pigmented areas, dry skin under base care, sunscreens (I am going to try your recommended Biore), marionette lines, lid sagging and crepy issues. Perhaps bringing in someone who is older to demonstrate who be helpful. Also a video on skin care focusing on maintaining moisture, retinols, and skin lighteners for removing/lessening spots from sun damage. Gentle makeup removal and skin cleansers for sensitive older skin - basic skincare maintenance, too please. I have done well up to now, but with your help I know I can do better. I’ve been watching you for two years now picking up tips, and I like your genuineness and honest approaches with regard to new products. There’s so much out there that it’s overwhelming sometimes. I look to you to “cull the herd” and make it easier. Thank you for all you do. Enjoy your well deserved time off. Refresh and renew your beautiful self. 🦋

I'm old enough not to care about makeup trends. That said, I recently heard that the 'latest trend' is all about returning to more natural looking eyebrows and only wearing makeup that enhances your features. Uh huh. I think that's what every mature woman's goal is, to make what you have look as good as possible. That's been my goal since I started wearing makeup in my teens. Back then it was concealing pores and acne and making myself look prettier. Now it's concealing creases and pores and making myself look prettier. The main thing that's changed is my skin, and the quality of products, both makeup and skincare, has improved tremendously. (I'm from the St. Ive's peach pit scrub, Sea Breeze astringent, Oxy Pads and drying to skin to death to try to get rid of pimples.)

Have you tried anything from Lorac? I never hear anyone talk about it and I have the pro contour palette and it’s phenomenal. The tones are perfection and versatile for fair-light even medium skin. It’s a powder formula and blends effortlessly. Idk just wanna tell everyone, but especially for us fair weird tone peoples 😂

Hi! I totally understand needing a break. Here’s a suggestion/idea for videos: teaching how to paint (or painting principles). I think you are gifted in teaching and art and maybe this would be another way to do it outside of makeup.

Hope you enjoy your time off! I’ll miss your content, I think you’re so talented and I love that you have a background in art. Also I love that Nyx primer, so glad people are using it again. I thought it was going to be kind of gimmicky but it’s so good! Nice to know other people like it too! ❤❤❤
