Thanks for the shoutout! BTW I just recently bought an XGT grinder and now they come out with a more powerful version :| And regarding the price, this new pack in Japan costs just a bit less then BL4050F, so you will have to decide whether you want a bit extra capacity or smaller size and a pack you could more comfortably use with smaller tools :)

Stick with the one you have and be happy dont get attached to worldly things as the bible says. They update grinders more then iphones.

I think if you are useing heavy tools it will be worth it to keep the weight down i will probably get 2 of these batteries to use on tools that I'm trying to keep light

the 4ah batteries are not pleasant to use on a tool that you're holding in the air all day. I dread to think what the 5ah would be like

I was using my 5ah on my sds to drill 1 1/8" holes through 1ft of concrete, it's heavier for sure but the thing delivered!

Makita NEEDS to UpGrade their LXT Batteries to Stacked Lithium so they will Fit on their 18v x 2 / 36v tools , I don't get what they are waiting for , Common Makita.....

I am not sure what the benefit would be since lxt tools are made to use existing cells. I mean they could use more powerful 18650 cells already before opting for pouch cells, but idk about the benefit

@riba2233 Still , people would like to see it happen and not just the Batteries but also the tools , Makita hasn't done much with its LXT Line , it seems all their focus is on their XGT Line ....

@@brianf9619 they ate working on both, don't worry. They just have to work more on the xgt because it has a lot less tools currently, and lxt already has everything more or less
