A comprehensive review: Enjoyable to watch glorious sunset colours at 38,000 feet from the aircraft window; it's always good to hear the Rolls Royce Trent engines spooling up to near maximum thrust for take off; observing mouth watering cuisines and chuckling at some dry humour in the commentary - all that and more adding to a great review. I'm guessing that the re-shoot of the intro footage took place in Turkey.. and more precisely - Pergamum or perhaps Ephesus?? Well done Paul.

Glad you enjoy the videos :) To be honest, a 7hr day flight is survivable in economy or even premium economy. I'd only fly in business if I wasn't paying for it, or using points.

@@PaulStewartAviation I did! So cool! Flying business class is something that I plan to do at least once in my life, and I want to do it with my national airline! After seeing your video, I'm sure I will get a very excellent service :) After seeing your Malaysia Airlines First Class review (now Business Suite) I probaby won't go for that as I think it's not that different with Business Class... plus I'm slightly claustrophobic and I think sitting in one of those tight partitions for long hours can make me uncomfortable :( economy seats however, are cool for me :) what do you think of the difference between Business and Business Suite?

Hi mate, yeah the business suite isn't worth it. I wouldn't worry about feeling claustrophobic as it's seems more spacious in person than it does in the photos. It's a similar story with QR's QSuite and the JAL sky beds (or whatever they're called :) )

#Amenity kit. Brillant vlog Paul.The scenary was spectacular. I like the look of the A350 pointy end true comfort at its best.Such a shame MH only use a 737 from Perth to KL with a sardine business class. Maybe oneday we will get a real aircraft. "HAPPY LANDINGS"

#MHamenitykit Fun fact: the Hokkien mee is also known as 大碌面 ( Jyutping: daai6 luk1 min6, loosely translated into 'thick (in diameter) noodles') in KL and other Cantonese-speaking areas, however Hokkien mee in Penang is actually 虾面 (literally translated into 'prawn noodles' in all Chinese dialects) in other parts of Malaysia

Great video, i'm flying the same route next week, though i chose a single seat on the other side hoping i'd be closer to the window ;/ Really looking forward to the Satay people rave about. By the sounds of it i shouldn't bother with the QANTAS lounge if it's that busy though :(

Thanks mate. Just be aware that the sun will be on the left side if that's important for you. I intentionally wanted the right side to avoid the glare. :) Otherwise, enjoy your flight, it's a perfectly good business product. The lounge isn't bad - just a zoo at that time of the day. I wouldn't rush to get there early just for the lounge experience.

Cheers mate, Sun shouldn't be an issue, I usually just sit there having loaded up a play list of whatever i can stand on the IFE anyway. Lounge or no lounge no biggie, i'm sure the experience will be far better than the Thai 747s i usually take which are well and truly due for replacement. Thanks again!

BEST INTRO EVER! I can spot where you are but won't ruin it for others. ( it's lovely but a tour makes it a sweaty 2 hours eh!) Glad to see MH improving their lounge to include the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx though. imho too few airlines include ancient Greek ruins in their lounges nowadays Oh also the rest of the video was acceptable I guess ;) #mhmalaysiaammenitykit

Paul, it is a winglet not a wingtip. All wings have wingtips but the raked 'shapes' on a lot of the new aircraft are classed as winglets. Great videos, keep up the good work.

Hi Paul. Thanks for another great video. I always prefer a layout that offers 2 seats side-by-side next to a window as opposed to only offering 2 seats in the middle, as I'm not willing to give up a window seat and I don't think my wife would appreciate having to sit behind or in front instead of next to me.
