Hey y'all. They recently announced a new map/update and by the looks and sounds of this New Zealand map it's going to be a banger! This video is a Red Deer hunt just to kind of correlate to the Red Deer on this upcoming New Zealand map. Hope you enjoy.

I don't think they're goin to make this another CotW. Both are hunting games and as a hunting game it needs the essential tools hunters like to utilize like tree stands and tripods and finally they add those tools to the game. The game's finally shaping up. As long as they stay away from bs like fast travel tents and goofy stuff like this, they're fine. 🙂 Still missing blinds and handguns tho, but hopefully they'll bring that in as well some day. So my guess for the new game on the New Zealand map is Red Deer, Wap-i-ti Elk, Sika Deer (not to be confused with Sit-ka Deer *cough cough* looking at you Hunt) or Rusa Deer, Sambar Deer, wild boar, chamois, and feral goat. And it's not the gun it's the person behind the gun, 6.5 fan boy. 😂

You got them correct. The species are the New Zealand red deer Himalayan tahr Feral pig Feral goat Wild boar Fallow deer Helmeted guineafowl Wild duck Greylag goose Sambar deer New Zealand elk (wapiti) Sika deer And there’s 5 more species to be confirmed

Hey- mufolon is pronounced - muuuuufolon... Like when a cow says muuuu and the 1.st O often isn't pronounced so- muuflon (at least here in my country Slovenia where we have them)

Love the videos BUT, just because something is in COTW doesn't make it a bad thing!!! Pistols, you can't have them, they are in COTW, see my point? Tripods absolutely, and tents too, these maps DEFINITELY need tents! Way too much ground to cover in-between lodges and campsites. End of the day, you don't have to use it if you don't want to! IT'S A GAME, SHOULD BE FUN!

Thankfully, the devs have said tents will not happen. COTW is now a fast travel game not a hunting game. When was the last time you saw anyone walking around in that game? Everyone fast travels (as little as 400M) or just sprints everywhere.

Looking at the video, the Red deer might be the next species with more antler variations too. Hopefully, I like NZ better than Tranz because, like you, I really don't like the Tranz map. IDK Y but it is just bad.

I hope they lean towards Call of the wild .... this game gets on my nerves bc you can't find animals just randomly roaming around. Literally have to sit zones until the animal spawns in. I wanna be able to sit in a stand somewhere between zones rattle the antlers and shoot a buck at 15 yards with a bow.

I hope not! To play this game you need some skill and knowledge and that takes time . Now,if you want everything handled to you with none or little effort,cotw is your game...grinders paradise.

@HUNTgaming25 so when a heard of 15 deer run off, why is there only 1 set of tracks going to the next zone ... you can't hunt anywhere beside in the zone or literally on the only trail they use between the 3 zones. The only realistic thing is bullet placement and product names. That's it

WOTH is definitely not for inexperienced hunters. I never rely on the tracks. To me you don't know what you doing if you count the deer and didn't get one. Really
