The Superior Spider man is badly in need of an update. The one on the pizza Spidey buck has worked for years on my shelf as a suitable place holder. But the questionable paint apps, lack of gauntlets and waldos has always left a lot to be desired. Hoping Hasbro finally does this character justice.
Odin, as long as it is comics, not that picky on which style. I was happy to add the destroyer armor to my Thor display, hope we get a 12" frost giant someday. I like my legends ghost rider, an updated one would be great to save me from buying the Mezco one. Skaar is a must have for me. Quicksilver will round out my brotherhood. Definitely some good ones in there, hopefully plenty more as the year goes on.
Odin has a slew of good looks. They almost couldn't go wrong with him. I still need a Mastermind for my Brotherhood and a bucket head style crown look for Scarlet Witch.
Definitely looking forward to the Secret Wars wave. I would love to see a Beyonder as well as a new Wrecking Crew and Absorbing Man. Wasp and Rogue would be icing on the cake. Shout out to my fellow MD collector! Good to know there's a couple of us out here ;)
Thanks for your efforts on this one Jeff. The ole Bronze Age comic fan in me is curious about this "Strange Tales" line of characters. When the monster theme gave way to superheroes, Strange Tales moved to a 2-parter between Dr. Strange and the Human Torch. Many Marvel villains' 1st appearances came out of that run like Dormammu, Nightmare, Umar, Baron Mordo, Wong, Eel, Plantman, the Beetle, the Wizard, and Trapster (aka Paste-Pot Pete). If Hasbro ML is interested in producing any of the above mentioned, I would be very interested. Finally, Warbird.
Looking forward to the Ms. Marvel warbird figure. I asked diamond select marvel select to release a warbird Ms. Marvel and now I am glad that marvel legends will be releasing one.

Great list! I'm excited to see Warbird Ms. Marvel, Ghost Rider, curious to see if any of those Venoms are Mark Bagley inspired or perhaps Lethal Protector blue, Odin, Man Thing, Hulkbuster if it's the comic suit, need Mystique and Destiny, the Cabal 4 pack with Iron Patriot. Lots of good stuff there, if Hasbro can deliver. I know every body wants the heroes for hire look but I always thought that looked goofy. I don't like Luke's tiara or Danny with capris and slippers. I really want Iron Fist and Luke Cage, but I really hope it's Heroic Age. Immortal Iron Fist and Luke with a bald head, yellow shirt, and some chain weapons. That's both of their best looks.
Hoping and looking forward to seeing a professor X in his jumpsuit, they can use the original head sculpt from the first one, also looking forward to Destiny to complete the brotherhood of evil mutants and a Ms marvel/warbird figure is much needed
If they give us a Misty Knight, I hope they give us a better head sculpt...and definitely better painted eyes!!! The previous Misty could check out both sides of the street at the same time. I wish Legends would switch to the Classifieds ideology. Classifieds line tries to get out every character, and you're confident as a fan that they're going to do just that! Not so with Legends. I don't have that kind of faith they I'll eventually be getting the U-Foes, Stingray, the New Mutants, Triton, etc. I just don't. I feel like Legends just rehashes over and over again. An updated Spider-Man, or an variant Wolverine is about all we can expect from them, and that's not good enough for me. We need more characters represented who have no previous Hasbro representation. That's the way they can score points with me. Not by bringing out yet another HulkBuster figure.
I REALLY want to see a Yellowjacket and a classic Banshee as well. Yellowjacket is the version of Pym from my personal childhood favorite run of Avengers and disptite who later writing screwed his character up, he will always have a spot on my dream Avengers roster. With classic Banshee I’ll have the Giant-Sized X-Men line up pretty much completed. I also want that original version of Rogue.
@LylesFigureFiles True, but I have a feeling that Norman Osborne Iron Patriot will be a force feed of figures you would rather skip if sold separately. Couldn't we just get an Osborne Patriot with an updated Daken?
There are a few figures that I am amazed that we only have one in the line, or technically, we have multiples, but they are MCU, or they are different from what anyone or I wanted. Wasp, She-Hulk , Quicksilver, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, Misty Knight, Ant-Man, Blade, etc
They've done two with another Wasp on the way. She-Hulk has had two -- one way back in the day -- and another that almost immediately needed an update. I'm surprised we haven't had more Quicksilver figures too.

I have listened to collectors of marvel legends complain about the price, packaging, lack of accessories, incomplete teams, pins in joints, store exclusives, Hasbro business, paint apps, etc etc. So why does anyone continue to collect this line? The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Clearly with every review or live stream I’ve seen on RU-vid the prevailing opinion is disdain or this visceral vitriol for Hasbro as a business and marvel legends line specifically. So my question, conundrum is why do you continue to buy into a line that you as fans hate the company and hate the product they make?
You know I've been and continue to support the line. I think other companies have helped keep things in perspective with how many great figures are still coming from Marvel Legends.
Because SOME of the figures are still decent. People hope for that quality to be their standard, but get disappointed when they see how they are being taken advantage of with no increase in overall quality across the board. They have every right to complain whether they continue with the line or not. One can't deny the massive amount of pegwarming the line has mostly done over the last 2 years. People want the line to live up to it's potential and hype, thats all.l

That figure never should have gone into production without correcting some of the obvious issues.” I’ve also said “The Mindless One Clea is a beautiful figure. I wanted a Clea in the worst way, and I couldn’t be happier with how she turned out. She’s one of my top ten figures of 2023.” Sometimes I think you choose to only hear the negative.

The Deadpool 3 figures might be part of the 17+ Marvel Legends wave with figures from Echo & Marvel Zombies that includes a Build-A-Figure Zombified Abomination.
Mostly figures I have no interest in, but there are some stars here... I hope the Iron Fist figure is his original costume and I prefer Steel Serpent as part of that 2-pack. Hasbro's ML line is so lacking in villains, it's ridiculous. I hope Odin has one of his classic Kirby costumes or even the Simonson one you pictured in the video. I've really been wanting a decent Odin to replace that MCU scrawny version. Hoping they size him similar to Thanos or the Controller figures. Destiny would be good to help complete the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants collection. I hope we get the rumored Ikaris in his original Kirby designed costume, and Count Nefaria. Both must haves! I hear there's going to be a Strange Tales wave, so I'm hoping we get an original green Dormammu figure with the white smoky head. I am getting sick of Hasbro constantly releasing variants of the same few figures though. There are hundreds, if not thousands of Marvel characters to tap into and we're really, really hurting when it comes to classic villains. I look at my shelves and it's like...where are all the villains? Where are the Frightful Four, Salem's Seven, Gabriel the Airwalker (my single most wanted and the last needed to complete Galactus's heralds), Mandarin, Living Laser, Man Ape, Power Man (i.e. the Lethal Legion), Nebulon, Attuma, the Executioner (classic/original), Gladiator, Whizzer (to complete the Squadron Sinister), Mesmero, Graviton, Karnilla, etc? They should be releasing a villains wave at least once a year. More villains, Hasbro!
@@LylesFigureFiles More than anything else, I would hope for an original all-green costumed Dormammu. It would be a good thing for Hasbro because they already have the body mold. They can just cast it in green plastic and add a head of smoke instead of flames. Pure profit. I'm sure they'll never make obscure favorites of mine like Tiboro or Aggamon, but hopefully we'll see a classic Baron Mordo and Ancient One. If it's a 7 figure wave - and assuming they're addressing all of the classic Strange Tales issues, not just the Dr. Strange issues - I'd hope for (and these would seem to make the most sense): 1. Dr. Strange (original costume) 2. Dormammu (original green costume) 3. Ancient One 4. Baron Mordo 5. Umar 6. Nightmare 7. Adam Warlock (original costume) Nightmare's horse would be a perfect BAF for this wave! Paste Pot Pete would be cool, but unlikely. Plus I'd prefer they save him and release him as the Trapster for a Frightful Four release. Tiboro and Aggamon look cool, as does Kaluu, but they're too obscure and Hasbro wouldn't likely make those. So I'm guessing my list may end up being accurate. Fingers crossed!
I missed out on suprerior Spiderman and have almost pulled the trigger on the secondary market so I’m AMPED about that but anyone think I should wait on the spidey/ wolvie 2pack in hopes I can get it marked down or should I pull the trigger immediately?
Secret Wars we need a Beyonder. The main characters from that line, if they only did them, were Iron Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Wolverine with two different sets of claws, and the original Spider-Man with symbiote variant. Since they already made Doctor Doom, they might put in Doc Ock. I know they made many, but I remember only those few came out first. They might be all reuse.
I love that they have been consistently putting out Thor-related characters over the last decade. I'm not the biggest Thor fan, but if they are going to give me a complete set character, who am I to turn it down. I still want at least a Robbie Reyes figure with an alternate head. Marvel doesn't have enough Latin characters to ignore him.
Yeah, that “angry retro toy reviewer” Hood figure is pretty bad! Lol I am looking forward to retro Quicksilver, Mystique, Destiny, Iron Patriot, Iron Fist, and Warbird.
It's such a throwaway moment you'd have to make sure you pay attention in that backyard scene.

I would like to see what the man thing and iron fist looks like but soundz promising .A cool odin would be nice but again dependz on which look they use. I dont need another ghost rider unless itz carter slade with a cool horse which i doubt . Hulkbuster a maybe i like my titan series 12 inch a lot even if its not articulated . Kazar is a must but only if he comes with zabu . Wolfbane i probably would get .Im cool with my iron patriot i think came from endgame not sure . But with all these figs coming what is the quality going to look like ? A dump of so many figs is not alwayz a good thing .
It definitely depends on the final product, but I'm encouraged by the list of names covered.

I’m withholding judgment until actual lineups are announced and reveals are made. Right now, this could be a great year for me personally with Marvel Legends, or it could be a very “meh” year. In terms of the new leaks, not much beyond Iron Fist, Warbird, and Destiny tickles my fancy or excites my soul. 😉 Lots of potential though!

I luckily have the old legends dan ketch ghost rider. they really took everything awesome about his run and gave it to johnny blaze. then pooped all over ketch after. but his stories were my favorite. (no hate on blaze i enjoy him too but i liked what was different about both of them and their versions)

I’m done with marvel legends. They’ve messed up or made the definitive versions. I’d like a better Luke cage, but I’m not gonna get it from this ML team. IronFist was done perfectly from Mezco.

Yes! We absolutely need a new Black Bolt and I like that Vulcan mold choice for him. Champion would be fun and maybe we can get classic Blaastar on that Omega Red mold?
