ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The new Jean Grey Pheonix with 2 head sculpts and that amazing stand is sooo worth it. I'll need 2 for the TRU Dark Pheonix figure it's a huge upgrade from the old toybiz stand. That one is easily my Top choice of the new batch releases. Can't wait!!

The first appearance Rogue I have been waiting for a while on. Yeah, she's not exactly what she could be with a changeable head and hood but when is the last time they made this figure? literally never this will be the first time. And we heard the guy in the video state they might make more down the line where she has more accessories but come on if you're a fan of Rogue like me, you are going to be just as excited that they finally actually made this figure for the very first time. The evil Rogue, I love this figure and how it looks and I for one will pay for the 2 pack because it's a figure I have been craving for a while now.

What a compliment to marvel select when a legends figure looks so good that the immediate response is “wow looks like a marvel select!” Overall, the livestream was weak in my opinion. Oden was nice, black heart was nice to see. Everything else, I could absolutely do without. Would’ve gotten excited for some sentinels, but I’m not buying anything announced. Also, collectors need to stop allowing legends to sell us figures without an articulation. I actually love that costume on rogue and thought about getting it, but ONCE AGAIN no ab articulation on another legends figure. They could’ve easily sculpted some ab articulation. They always have some bs excuse for why they exclude it.

This is one of the most meh waves I've seen in a while. I already own 2 brother Voodoos, multiple Moon Knights (specifically paid like $30 to get the all white one from Walgreens at one point), and don't care that much about the other figures. I also still have the original Blackheart as well. If it gets cheap, I might complete, but I'll probably just wait for the 3 I'm interested in to go on sale or something (Hellstrom, Dracula, and Lillith)

Not the biggest fan of the more recent looks of Dracula in the marvel comics. I definitely prefer the way he looked when he had Apocalypse bow before him.

Not to be too critical, but the sheer number of main stream legends reviewers, who have no knowledge of the past 10-15 years of comics is absurdly high. Every time I see an episode of them talking about new characters that they have no idea about, I get a bit sad. I mean if I'm making any type of decent money doing this for a living, I might be interested in using my Marvel Unlimited and DC subscriptions to read more about the characters. The lack of caring for a character they have no vested interest, really hurts their opinions, in my opinion. That Dracula and Lilith are both dope, and feature some pretty interesting characters... I don't care for another Wolverine variant, simply because I don't care for Wolverine... well I did care for him, when he was interesting, but he hasn't been interesting in 20 years... read his first issues where he was worried about a single sword wound, and compare it to the creature he's become. And Brother Voodoo absolutely needed an upgrade.

It's not the daughter of Blade. Bloodstrom is a character from that era in the X-Men time, where Beast brought jung X-Men from the past. She even got romantically with jung Cyclops.

FYI the color of Prof X's Shi'ar Armor is actually correct. The colorist for the cover actually incorrectly colored it. The interior artwork matches the figure. I'm sure they will make an Xmen 97 gold armor one for anyone that wants to match the cover.

Hoping this ends up being a subline for their mystic characters. If so a wave 2, Deathwatch, Nightmare. Blackout, Satanna. Werewolf by Night, Midnight Sons era Dr. Strange, and a BaF Mephisto maybe. Lilith was her name. Know was part of the first Midnight son's storyline crossover.

Lilith(Ghost Rider villain), Damian Hellstrom, and Dracula are my top must haves from the wave! That was Dracula's look (and still is) when Deadpool went against him and married his fiance, Shiklah. Very cool read! Excellent vid!✌️

As a fan of Ghost Rider and the dark/horror theme of the Marvel Universe, this wave is a must have for me. Hopefully this means we’ll be seeing more of character of this nature like Blackout, Deathwatch, Nightmare, 90s, Blade, Hannibal King, and even Mephisto.

The reveals were very good! My favorites were Odin and the deluxe Phoenix. The Dracula and Black Heart are a close runner up. I have a pretty good feeling that favorite Wolverine Dan is referencing is the Deadpool 3 Wolverine. Rektangular did mention there will be a Deadpool 3 wave this year but didn't have specifics on who was in it.

The only DEFINITE pickups for me are ODIN...SON OF SATAN.. that PHOENIX... & possibly DRACULA..& i guess I have NO CHOICE but fo pick up the Rogue Desitny 2 Pack if i want Destiny.. Also IMO the "STRANGE TALES" wave had ZERO to do with the Marvel Comics Strange Tales series... the ONLY way i would have picked up the ENTIRE wave was if the BAF was MEPHISTO Lastly..i would have preferred an O.G. Dracula.. the 70s version illustrated by Gene Colan

Saving a lot of money this time. Not sure about Odin, definitely Green Phoenix, Destiny and Rogue, but only for the Destiny, pass on Warlord Xavier, pass on Venom, maybe Hellstorm and maybe Brother Voodoo. That's NOT the Dracula I remember. I remember Tomb of Dracula and younger dark haired bearded Dracula! I wanted Dracula's Daughter Lilith, this one is Fugly. So, maybe 2 in the Wave, don't need any more Wolverine, Storm, or Moon Knight. Where's my Werewolf?

The Odin is really nice but it depends on price for me. I think the only X-Man figure I care about from this is the Phoenix, but I'm not really sure I need the green suit compare to the red suit. Probably depends on price too. That's not just Moon Knight, that's MEME KNIGHT! The outfit he wore during the storyline where had magic powers, from which a panel was edited so that he says "Random bullshit go!!" which has become a meme, Dracula is also in this wave, and another famous edited Meme Knight page is him asking if Dracula "has his money." The only figure I was interested in for that BAF wave was Dracula, but that Blackheart is seriously really nice

I loved it im all in with the 30th wave. And Odin looks sick! The details look beautifu! looking for a warriors 3 to go with him. The Destiny and evil classic Rouge kooked great, shratds hatten caus the Articulation.🙄 But it looks right from the comics if we lose articulation for looks im good.👍🏼 And Destiny looks great can't wait to put her with the brother hood, just need to get another Mystique. Im liking the Strang Tailes wave. That wolverine looks awesome! I think the skull is back metal paint!, im ok with with Brother Voodoo inhave the Book of Ashanti box set, Dracula looks cool, you hve Bkase must have Dracula, vampire Storm looks cool im s fan of vampires, Lilith looks amazing her and hell fire wolverine are my fave, Moon Night, nit really doing west coast avengers and im good with the last moon night. And Hellstrom An blavk heart is confirmed we have to be getting a Mephisto. But black heart looks really good so ill be getting this wave. That Phoenix 🔥🐦‍🔥🔥 looks sweet love the base but it would be better with Dark Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 i have an idea with Pyro and that Phoenix construct. 🐦‍🔥🤔 I say this was a solid kive stream with good characters. 8🐦‍🔥 out of 10👍🏼

I'll be saving up for the FreshMonkeyFiction Operation Monster Dracula to go with my Blade figure. Much more classic Dracula in styling, plus he ALSO comes with a big f_ck off sword, an alternate head sculpt and several pairs of hands. If I want a Dracula figure that looks so much like Knull... I'll use Knull. And apart from that Kirbyesque Odin, nothing else revs my engines with this new wave. Kind of a relief given how much of a dent the Ghost Rider set and the S.H.I.E.L.D. 3 - pack is going to make in my finances in the very near future.

Is it bad I really want that Dracula? That version of Dracula showed up in the Deadpool comics when he was married to Shiela, and in the avengers cartoon that came after EMH.

Not an Odin fan at all, so my reactions are very different. Love the Jean Grey / Phoenix and am surprisingly excited for most of the Strange Tales wave (Dracula, Blood Storm, Hellverine, and Hellstrom. Lilith, not sure. Voodoo pants, don't care at all. Didn't we have one of him not that long ago?) Oh, and Moon Knight, LOVE that color combo. Want to see somebody do a side by side with the old Blackheart (which I have).
